Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Dyna-Glo Delux50k-100k BTU Natural Gas Radiant Portable Heater The heater is able to warm up my 800 sq. ft. work shop within minutes from 30' to about 65'. I use a ceiling fan to move the warm air to every corner of the work space.I opted for this heater in lieu of an overhead unit for ease of install and overall cost. Some reviews have stated the ignitor is problematic. I found the trick is to slowly turn the ignition dial to light the burner. A good deal. January 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great patio or garage heater Well built natural gas heater, easy to connect with a flex line (not included) lights with electronic turn ignition. Has 3 settings for control of heat output, very stable base. I would not recommend to use around small children or areas where someone could bump into the unit. Gets hot to the touch and can burn especially on the hightest setting. January 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good price and works great I'm using this heater in a two and a half car garage that is insulated/drywalled. The heater heats the garage from 35F to 70F in less that 15 minutes. The heater works so good that I only run it on the low setting and can only run it for about 10 minutes at a time before it's to warm for me. My reason for giving it a 4 star rating is because the igniter on my unit doesn't always light it and sometimes takes many tries to get it to light. I just light it with a propane torch now and it lights instantly. The heater seems like it's built very well and I would definately suggest this to someone looking to heat a garage or pole barn. There's no kerosene stink or loud blower noise like on torpedo heaters... Best of all I used a 10 foot flexible quick connect natural gas hose so it's somewhat moveable and can be disconnected easily and stored when not in use. Hose kit is a Brinkman and sells for $40. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Price and Value I bought this to heat up my two car garage, it delivers as promised and I used a 10 foot Brinkman hose to hook up to my supply line. I recommend this and this by far was the cheapest price with free shipping from Home Depot of anywhere else online. October 28, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Could not be happier. I could not be more pleased with this heater and am amazed at how quickly it heats up my garage. I have a large, two car garage with eleven foot ceilings. It is sheet rocked but not insulated. I am not exaggerating, it will raise the garage temperature from 30' F to 55' F in just under an hour on the high setting (outside temps in the teens). I then turn it to the low setting and the temperature continues to rise to near 70' and I turn it off for awhile. It's easy to operate, easy to move and I would recommend this to any one. If I had any "complaint", I wish the "low" setting was a little lower so the garage temps would level off in the low 60's instead of continuing to rise to where I'm forced to shut it off for awhile. You only get the slightest hint of fumes, nothing at all like the kerosene heater I was using. December 31, 2013
