What is Code E1?

Asked by: Gentry
Read the label on the machine or the manual it has all the error codes. E1 is either fuel pressure, dirty filters, photo sensor or a dirty spark plug.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Pretty Good I have a 2000 sq ft automotive shop which is really open to the elements. All I really need to heat up is the area where my guy normally works. Which is roughly around 600 sq ft and this thing definitely does the trick. I'm actually going to purchase another one for the other side of my shop because when I have my vehicles in the shop it pretty much keeps all the heat to one side of the shop and never travels to the other side. So this xmas I'll be getting another heater for the other side so my guy is not freezing his butt off. Definitely a good buy.

I purchased this to take the chill out of an unheated 1200 sq ft post frame building with no insulation in the ceiling, 12 foot walls. Assembly took less than 15 minutes. Fill with fuel, go. It puts out a lot of heat and actually worked better than I expected. I used Diesel #2. Yeah, you better open the doors when you first fire it off, but really it doesn't stink to bad after the initial puff of smoke. Then I close the door down some, but be sure not to close doors all the way, or windows. Get a CO detector to play it safe. Kerosene is cleaner, but far more expensive. Its noisy, it blows a lot of very warm air and in my case, just what I needed. It warms the building as much as I need. Pretty fuel efficient too, a gallon hour about. I am quite happy with it.

I purchased this device Jan of 2013 and seldom used it then and when it was used it worked ok approximately 60 percent of the time. The most common problem that occurred seemed to be with the ignition system, the machine will spray a fine mist of fuel through the front and then shuts down within a few seconds. I removed the cover and checked the ignition system's plug and related wiring which checked fine. It continued to work intermittently then, now recently about a year plus after its' last use the machine comes on ignites in surges then shuts down initially, currently it does not ignite or flame anymore but the fan runs for a few seconds before it automatically shuts down. The associated diagnostic code was always E1. To all the 5 stars reviews I imagine you all are fortunate. With an adequate supply of fuel there should be no problem with machine In its' initial phase of usage. It is listed as garbage.

Bought one a week ago had to return it due to the thermostat problem numbers jumping all over the place flickering. Waited a week later and picked up another at a different H.D. this one works as stated. Throws out a tremendous amount of heat in My uninsulated 24x24 pole building. Only time will tell how long it keeps going but so far so good.

All the parts were included but the directions made no sense. I had to look at the picture on the box to see how it went together. Once together, I put fuel in it and runs great. Heats up a large airplane hangar nicley.

I was a little skeptical about burning diesel fuel but was pleasantly surprised to find it had no odor. The built in thermostat is also a great feature. I heat a 30 by 40 insulated pole barn with a 12' ceiling very easily for half the price of what it would cost to use kerosene. Love it!

They wire up unfinished houses. Pretty pleased with the output of this! Definitely warms up the whole house! They did not install the bigger handle on the back so they could get it in and out of their van a little easier.
