I purchases a furniture type dolly under $15 at Harbor Freight to set mine on. I secured it with bungie cords. I roll it all over my garage now.

Answer:
I checked, they don't.
But make your own flat dolly style up, and set it on it. I think this heater was the best buy that I found!
It's not that heavy anyhow, even filled with kero. It has a handle to lift with.

Answer:
I know this heater comes in a higher BTU unit that has a wheel system that comes with it. My guess is as long as the dimension are equivalent, there should not be a problem installing the same wheel system on this unit. However, with a full (5 gal.) tank of gas, this slides very easily and between the weight of the unit and the 5 gallons of gas it is not very heavy to just carry by the handle.

Answer:
It is not recommended. The kerosene smell would get into your furnature, clothing, etc... It produces a lot of fumes and requires proper ventalation.

Yes, the thermostat is fully functional. It may take you awhile to "dial in" the setting to fit the environment, but after that its automatic.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 47 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent gift My wife bought me this and she did an excellent job reviewing and deciding what to buy. This heater is great. It comes with an on/off switch, a cord wrap, pressure gauge and best of all a thermostat that is very precise and worth it's weight in gold. I use it to heat my 26'x30' uninsulated garage and it does a tremendous job. I highly recommend this heater. The only down fall is it does not come with wheels. I attached mine to a furniture dolly and it works great for moving from one place to another. February 25, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great Heat Source The heater produceds a great amount of heat fast. The only thing about the unit I do not like is that it is not very durable. I was fueling mine with one of those new fuel cans that require you to twist and push down on the nozzle to get the fuel to pour. The 5 gallon can slipped and turned over slightly and bent the fuel tank on the unit. It made the lid very difficult to put back on the tank of the unit. The tank is very thin. For a moment, I did not think I would be abel to put the fuel lid back on the tank. It would also have been nice if the unit had wheels. I mounted mine on a dolly from Harbor Freight so I can roll it around the garage and not worry about puncturing the thinly constructed tank. January 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Preformed right out of the box My workshop is in my two car garage, at 80K BTU it takes no time to warm thing up. The built in thermostat actually works, I don't have to keep manually turning off and on. I just set the temperature I want and that's it. The fuel gage is also a great feature. The only down side would be the kerosene odor, and the noise, but for a heated garage I will over look a little inconvenients. Besides its not that bad, and my equipment makes just as much noise. February 16, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Garage heat Heater is the right size for a 2 car garage. Doesn't give off much of an odor while running EXCEPT when the burner ignites then it can give off a large puff of smoke and partially burned fuel. After about a month of use (2 hours a day) the heater does not ignite every time. When the heater does not ignite it sprays a fine mist of raw fuel on the floor until ignition "times out". Would NOT use in a house. Has a built in thermostat which is nice, something I could not find on a propane fueled heater. January 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good heater This is a great heateer. Within 10 minutes your warm. Fuel efficient it is not but its high btu, clean and fast so you cant expect it to run for free.Everything about this heater is great but it needs wheels March 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super Heat It works very well for a 75,000 btu unit it heats my 3 car garage in about 15 minutes and it works very well I use Kerosene in it only. The only thing is when you shut it off it gives a vapor smell but other than that it is great January 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent heater Very good and fuel efficient product! Barn is not insulated but still keeps it warm when I have work to do out there! January 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great product Works great and heats fast. Minimum smell. Easy to move January 5, 2016
