Is the cover included with the price of $299.00? Most reviews say it is, but the descrip. indicates otherwise.

The cover is included. And, surprisingly, it is good quality and a great fit

Does the grill roll easily on four wheels casters as I have to roll it out of garage onto driveway?

Asked by: naplesgirl
Yes. Very easily. then, the back two wheels lock so it won't roll away.

I loved this grill for about a year and a half and would have given 5 stars, but despite keeping it covered and cleaning regularly, the brackets that hold the heat tents up rusted right off the unit and apparently you have to order an entirely new firebox vs them sending replacements - I could weld them on myself even but no luck. Was a good unit for a while but just a silly design that will now require me to jerry rig something or get an entirely new unit (which will now probably not be a Dyna-Glo)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware of This Grill! I too have had this grill for two years, and have had the heat tent brackets rust off (you can read many more complaints like this here). I tried to care for this unit by covering it when not in use and cleaning regularly, to no avail. The manufacturer always replies that you should contact them, but the only solution they offer is to have you buy a new firebox for almost as much as the whole unit costs. Stay away from this device and buy a quality unit from a responsible manufacturer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Would not recommend until they fix I had this about 2 years or so. The metal inside where the heat shields rest have burned up and fallen apart. Can't fix it, either. I would buy again, but won't until they fix this defect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Was great to start...but.....didn't last This was a great grill to start. Put out great heat (but was hotter in the back than front even with cover down). But even after only two years of light use it started rusting out internally. First to go were the heat shields, then the connectors where the grills rested. The burners themselves have held up well, but I had to screw in stainless screws to hold up the grills. Can't replace the heat shields as there is nothing to hold them up. Their attachment points completely rusted away. Now the outside stainless is starting to rust badly. This grill is always under cover and cleaned regularly. Unless it has changed in the last couple of years, it is made of inferior steel and "under-engineered" internally. Too bad. I really liked it to start.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good for a year and a half and then.... The grill lasted about a year and half.. albeit in florida, but it was covered and not abused much. As another reviewed stated the inside rots and you cannot get replacement parts unless you fabricate them. At this point the grill is quite scary to use and will seek a replacement. (heat shield and brackets/flame tubes) The first 6 months will be good.. The food cooks ok, much hotter in the back and then failure due to rust.. There are way too many 5 star reviews as they haven't owned it long enough. Buy it if you are only looking for grill to last a year or two grill(Maybe longer up north or out west). I had to write the review due to the longevity issues.

I like the enameled cast iron grates as they are easy to clean and give nice char marks. It takes longer than my old grill to heat to 500 degrees for a nice char on steak. It could have used a few more BTU's but now I know to preheat the grill about 5-10 minutes before grilling. I added twine loops to all of my cooking tools so they can hang from the pegs on the edge of the right side table. We store the grill with the side tables down to be able to use the included grill cover. It would have been nice to have some hooks inside the bottom compartment to hang the cooking tools when not in use. I'll probably add hooks or a magnetic tool holder strip to the back of the door. Also , a welcome addition to the cover would be a folding pop-out to allow covered storage with the right side table engaged.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Heat tent brackets rust away quickly I have one of these and loved it for ease of assembly and looks, but after a year or so, the big flaw exposed itself. The brackets in the firebox upon which the heat tents sit are simply thin steel, welded to the inside of the firebox, just rust away and there's no easy fix. I made a hanger out of coat hanger wire and hooked it to the grate. The manufacturer's suggestion was to simply to buy a new grill. Really! This may look great, but it's money down the drain in two years.
