Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by thefab16 GREAT bladless fan!
This fan is fantastic! NO blades to worry about. Airflow seems "smoother" than my old tower fan. I have read other reviews on other sites about this fan, some complaining that it is "noisy". I don't find this fan any noisier (on high) than my old tower fan. At the lower speeds, this fan is almost whisper quiet. The only downside I can find with this, is the price (which is high). I gave it some thought before purchasing and now that I have had it in my home for over a week, I am glad that I made this purchase. The fan is a breeze to clean up, all because of this new NO blade technology by Dyson.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MatureNYer Very efficient but expensive
I would have given this fan a 5-star rating if it wasn't so expensive.
It is amazingly efficient and was used day and night in the recent NY heat wave (over 100 on some days). I do not have airconditioning, but this fan made the temperatures bearable during the day, and allowed me to sleep comfortably at night.
It is a bit "noisy": at highest speed, it sounds as though it is raining, rather than a mechanical sound. This sound did not interrupt sleep.
I will replace another more traditional pedestal fan when I gather enough money to do so.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by judtstmarie The Best performance of just what I wanted.
This fan is perfect for me and the quality is also perfect.
I love having no blades because I dislike cleaning them.
It's safe around children. It was expensive but worth the quality and performance
Home Depot was my choice of store because they have everything I need. Their customer service and shipping is excellent without any problems.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Arizona As Advertised
Have had no issues with this fan and it is working as advertised. It does not move as much air as our previous large caged fan, but the air seems cooler, I am guessing because the air intake is at floor level. It is not as noisy as our prior fan and less so than I expected based on some of the reviews. Due to it's needed placement in our home, the slim vertical construction has made it much less cumbersome to walk by and work around. This fan has met our expectations but it is overpriced.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by windlover totally awesome
I purchased this fan and the table top fan. They are both great. The tower fan I have for my bedroom. I am handicapped and the remote helps with out having to ask for help or getting up on my own (which is difficult). The ease of cleaning these machines was also a selling point for me.
Because of my handicapp it is difficult to lug fans around, take them apart and clean them. These are perfect and fit in my life wonderfully. Just wipe and go. Can't get any easier than that! Thank you for developing these easy to put together and maintenance free machines. Not to mention the tremondous amount of air they move. Much more than the traditional fans.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by chubbypenguin Wonderful fan with an excellent design!
The best part about this fan is that it is blade-less so it is very user friendly in a household with small children. Also, the fan itself does not take up much space so that's a plus! It has a very modern look to it (which is a plus for me!).
The only little downside to this fan is the expensive pricing. It really comes down to personal opinion if you think this fan is worth the price ($400+). But overall, I still gave this fan a 5 star rating!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jonathan Everyone loves it! A true conversation piece that works too!
Works great, runs quietly and is beautiful. It works well at both at low speeds while watching TV and at high speeds with oscillation for parties.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Custodis My Perfect Office Companion
I bought this after it went on sale and having played with the display models in a nearby electronics chain store for months. I'm a bit of a polar bear when I'm studying and doing work in my home office, so I needed a fan that would help keep the room cool despite all the electronics and equipment I have to run. I had toyed with the idea of getting the desktop and pedestal models instead, but my wife and her aesthetic touch determined the Tower Iron/Blue model would be best for the room (and I have to agree now that it's been here for awhile).
The fan itself came in 3 separate pieces: The tower, the motor, and the base plate. They all snapped together very quickly and easily. The build feels and looks solid while still maintaining that Dyson style. It took less than a minute to put together and place in the room. It's very lightweight but packs some power.
My office measures a little over 11' x 14' and the fan cools it very well in a matter of minutes. It helps if you put it on oscillate to speed this process up, but I wanted to cool specific equipment (PC, laser printer, desk lamps and monitors) so I keep it pointed on those. The included remote allows me to leave it where my wife wanted me to put it and continue working while adjusting as needed. When I shutdown for the evening the remote really does magnetically rest on the top of the fan with no issue.
This thing is whisper quiet on the lower settings, but in my Texas heat I have to crank it up to max most afternoons and it is noticeably louder. That being said, it is still quieter than the printer and PC fans if I'm not listening to music and blocking out all the noise anyway. Some of my tower fans or pedestal fans in the past that I've tried have made squeaking or grinding noises after only a weekend of continuous use while oscillating and this thing still hasn't made a peep in that regard.
The air moved by the tower fan is indeed continuous and non-buffeting. It leaves me undisturbed and comfortable during prolonged use. Since I've added it to the room it has run nearly 16 hours a day and there has been absolutely no change in the flow. I have wiped it down with a lightly moistened dusting towel where indicated after each week though, which may have contributed to this.
All in all it's my favorite addition to my office. I can't recommend it enough, especially when it goes on sale. If you live in a warmer clime like myself this will serve you well!
