Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Noluck33 Worst Vacuum on the market!!!
This is the worse vacuum on the market. The service is also very bad. If you identify a problem they do nothing to fix it! Also I sent it back in factory box and they did not return my original factory box, sent it back in some large junkie box from UPS!!! If you call they just give you the runaround. I hate this vacuum and will never purchase another Dyson product! As I told them I can buy a $50 vacuum and throw it away after a couple of years and be ahead of the game! Over priced and very hard to keep clean, takes house of cleaning and the design is very poor, if you do not have a air compressor you will never be able to clean it!!! DO NOT BUY A DYSON PRODUCT! Next I will try a Shark, less money!!!

I like how small and compact this vacuum is vs normal vacuums. We have two dogs, one of which is an Australian shepherd so she sheds a lot. It's great how the vacuum automatically transitions from carpet to wood/tile floors so we can just vacuum everything instead of stopping to sweep. Great vacuum well worth the money.

Easy to assemble, there is nothing to it. By far the best vacuum ive ever bought worth every dollar. Got a clog? It has a easy to get to spot to open andget obstruction out easliy. Filter is very dependable and suction still amazes me

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Monica Nice reviews poor design, no satisfaction guarantee
I bought this product based on the good reviews it had.
The good thing is light and in carpets works wonders but on bare floors it does not.
The bad think is it looks fragil at work. You finished using it and you want to position it uptight it does not click and it falls down.
You would like to use the retractable device to clean the stairs you will be trapped between the machine that is coming towards you and the stairs.
It clogs very easily, then you have to stop the machine turn it upside down, find out where is the clogg and work on it.
If you are not happy with this product and you do not return it during the first 30 days after the purchase there is not refund.
The guarantee covers only any part that is defective.
In my case I bough it when I moved, by the time I realized it was not what I wanted ops, it was over the 30 day trial period. Do not expect a satisfaction guarantee like Hoover has..

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ApictureofYou My Canister Runneth Over
I had been considering purchasing a Dyson vacuumr for at least five years and finally broke down and bought one after trying both a Shark and a Hoover first.
I gave it four stars, however, I would say in reality that it is closer to 4.5 stars overall. Only one or two relatively minor annoyances has kept it from reaching five stars. Overall I'm happy with the product and would recommend it.
Suction is it's best feature and why I decided to buy it. I have hardwood floors and only one space with an area rug and that space it about 8' x 10' or so, so not a very large carpet space. Also I have two dogs that shed quite a bit, especially during summer in Texas. Just vacuuming my rug and some of the surrounding hardwood space is usually enough to fill the canister, so it appears that I'm getting quite a bit more dirt/hair than I had been getting with my other vacuums.
Easy to put together. It probably took less than 5 minutes out of box to up and running. Additionally, it's easy to remove and empty the canister, which is a big positive since it fills up so fast.
Relatively lightweight. Total weight is 17 pounds so it's not that heavy. I have a one-story house though so if I was constantly taking it up and down stairs that might be a little cumbersome for some people.
Detachable hose. When researching reviews before buying it, one of the cons that I had seen mentioned was that the detachable hose was relatively inflexible. I would agree with that assessment. I probably use the hose more often than not, so this really is the main drawback keeping this model from getting five stars. For me it's not a non-starter, but it does make it a little difficult especially when you want to use it fully extended. The hose seems to always want to retract. I've read in reviews that this is something that was addressed in the Mini-Ball Vacuum, however, the Mini-Ball seemed small even for my 1100 sf house.
I'm not sure what the correct term is but when you go from upright mode to pushing the vacuum it seems that the Ball Multi Floor is a little hard to consistently stay in the mode (either upright or vacuuming) that I want. This may just take some time to get used to, but after three weeks I'm still getting used to it.
