We also have the upright animal which does a better cleaning job but is a lot harder to use in tight spaces. This vacuum works well for a canister and is great for getting under beds etc. Love the auto recoil cord and easy attachments, it's weak spot is how it follows you. it does not turn the corners like they say it does, ours get stuck on the doorway almost all the time which is annoying. but that's the only flaw with it, the dust canister isn't as easy to empty as the upright version, if not done right it makes a mess.

I love this vacuum. Cordless makes it very easy to clean up messes. Very strong suction. Works great in cars as well.

would like to see a storage wall bracket or some thing to store this vacuum. also less exp. atatchments, battery run time is a little weak, won't do three pieces of furn. without a re-charge i will need to buy a second battery. but its by far the best at what it does

I still can not believe how much dirt my old machine left.
My new machine, the animal.
I call him my robot helper.

The vacuum works great with lots of suction the only thing I don't like is that the power button is on the right side so when you need to turn it off or on with your foot you need to go over the entire unit to hit the switch. It puts you in an off balance position. Also I don't like that you have to put more effort in pulling the unit around. Seems like the wheels don't move as freely as I would like it to. I don't want you to get the wrong impression I love this vacuum. It works better than others that I have owned. I just think some things need to be fixed for US users.

This vacuum cleans just about every aspect of my home, from floors to cobwebs. Being short, the extendable arm is the best for high spots.

This is not inexpensive, but it's the best, easiest to operate and most versatile vacuum cleaner available—its attachments are inter changeable with (almost) all Dyson cleaners, which makes this a must-have, even if you have an upright or hand-held Dyson. The horizontally circulating attachment for animal hair is amazing and removes even deeply seated junk without getting tangled. If you live with a pet, this is the vacuum to have. We have antique Oriental carpets, and this machine is both "gentle" and brutally hard on debris—I guess it's the strong vacuum that does this. Oh yes: hard floors, too, and an easy-to-use attachment for blinds.

This unit was for doing hardwood floors and stairs in a large home. We already have two Dyson uprights, one for each floor, and love them. When I wanted to get something that could handle bare floors and stairs easier I immediately went to a Dyson product. However, this unit is very disappointing. Hard to empty, the cover won't open easily and when it does the lid is swinging in the way, otherwise a mess. The rotating brush works went it wants to. Yes, it is debris free and nothing is blocking it. Overall, this is just a poor design. It is also had to maneuver around, again just poor design. Sorry I bought it. Very disappointed.
