The DC39 Multi floor canister vacuum is engineered with Dyson cyclones that capture more dirt than any other. Featuring Dyson’s Radial Root Cyclone technology, reconfigured air channels reduce turbulence and preserve air pressure, so the inner cyclones can extract more microscopic particles and expel cleaner air. Suitable for all floor types, the DC39’s Triggerhead tool is the only turbine head controlled at the handle, so there is no bending down to adjust. A fingertip control switches the brush bar off for delicate rugs and hard floors and switches on for high pick-up on carpets. Combined with Dyson Ball technology, the DC39 turns on a dime to give you greater control and easily moves around obstacles. The clear bin allows you to see when it’s full and empties at the push of a button, minimizing contact with dirt and allergens. DC39 Multi floor has a non-removable HEPA filter and carries a 5 year warranty, parts and labor guaranteed by Dyson. And as with all Dyson vacuum cleaners, DC39 Multi floor has no loss of suction.

  • No bag, no loss of suction, no awkward moves
  • Bonus attachments: soft dusting brush, flexi crevice tool

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best vacuum cleaner I've ever owned. What an improvement. The flexibility is amazing! You can get spots unattainable by other vacuums. Best vacuum cleaner I've ever owned. What an improvement. April 2, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by DC39 Total Clean Vacuum with Attachments We have had SO many vacuums over the years - Hoover, Kirby, Shark, to name very few of them - and this one beats them all. There are, of course, things I would change, i.e., although only 5'3", still have to stoop a little with the handle being so short (why) and, although it lays flat to get under most things, the short handle prevents it from going far under things. The suction is better than others, the ease of use is great, it is light weight enough to not dread getting it out, it is extremely easy to empty, and the attachments work like a dream and are easy to exchange. I avoided Dyson in the past because of the price and felt that, like Kirby, it was mostly hype. But that is not so here so far. Have only had it a few months, but with three dogs and a cat, can say it works very well indeed. April 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it & Bought Animal Attachment I've used my DC39 a few times now. I can't say it makes me love vacuuming, but it does have great suction and flexibility for moving easily around our small crowded apartment. I love the mechanism for dumping the stuff from the bin and generally appreciate the smart engineering. I accidentally bought the Multi Floor instead of the Animal version but was able to buy the animal hair attachment, which works fine with the Multi Floor. One go around my apartment fills up with an incredible amount of cat hair although I still use the regular floor attachment for the floor and pet attachment for furniture (because of it's smaller size). Rated 3 out of 5 by This is my first Dyson vacuum. This was a thoughtful purchase for me due to price. Overall the vacuum works well, and I am impressed with the amount of dirt/dust it picks up. I am not overly impressed with the quality of the attachments; I feel they are cheaply made and I am concerned about how long they are going to last. I have also had problems getting my beater brush attachment to turn off when vacuuming hardwood floors. October 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great machine It's hard to believe that you should pay a lot of money for a vacuum cleaner. It just isn't something most people really desire enough to pay for. But after years of having cheap vacuums that either didn't pick up dirt or broke down and died within months of purchase, we finally decided to but a Dyson. And it is really, really good. We have had to learn not to go over the same spot 2 or 3 times because the Dyson picked up the dirt the first time. And we got it just before we had our apartment windows replaced and new blinds installed, so there was an unusually high volume of dirt around this month. The machine is still new, so can't speak to longevity, but it really works well. We are happy we bought it, September 12, 2014
