This tool is a gardener's dream come true, because I have a bad back lumbar problem. So when I use my cultivator to remove dead/or thin out my gazanias which are on a slope I don't need to bend over to pick them up I just use my new 48 in. black pick up tool and toss them in my trash barrow.
And when I use my hand clippers (small or large) to shape my Lantana bushes into butterfly shapes, I use my 48 in. black pick up tool again to pick the fallen branches below the bushes. and place them in my barrow to use them as mulch.

I'm no pigmy, but found reaching things located on the top 2 shelves of my very tall kitchen cabinets cumbersome until I bought this 48" reacher. I have brought down some very heavy lead crystal pieces among other things and felt very confident in doing so. The reacher just feels sturdy and grabs and holds wonderfully well. It's not cheap, but I still believe it's a good value.

I found it to be of good quality; although it didn't work for why I originally bought it, I was trying to reach an antenna wire peering from the high roof to pull it down so I could connect it to the cables outside. The wire was apparently stuck, and didn't want to pay someone to just come over to reach a wire. Otherwise, I could use it for other things.

Bought for length of reach but did not realize that grabber part was not as wide as other grabbers. Person who received as gift is willing to keep it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Caroline Very well made and built to last!
I use this grabber to pick up trash that litters our park. This tool easily reaches hard-to-get places, has the dexterity of fingers, holds onto thin plastic or large bottles and even a brick. No kidding! It has a lock button to hold onto stuff. All metal, except for suction cup tips and handle.
