CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quick delivery I ordered the saw and was told it would be two weeks for delivery. The saw came in in less then a week. Only have used it once so far with no problems February 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works great but heavy I got this for trimming limbs growing out over lawn and fields. Assembly instructions were not very good, so it took a bit longer to put together than it should have. Once together it starts easily and cuts great. The main problem is that it is very heavy and will wear you out in just a few minutes of use, especially if it's fully extended, and the strap isn't helpful at all. On the other hand, 5 minutes of cutting will require 35 minutes of dragging brush, so you can "rest" in between cutting sessions. Haven't had to replace the chain yet, but I suspect it may be difficult to find when I do. I probably should order one online to have on hand when I need it. Bottom line is that this tool will definitely get the job done. August 4, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Engineered on paper. Not my first pole saw. Very pleased with overall fit, finish and engine performance. The quality is certainly there. The design, however, is moronic. Felt good in the store, but when harnessed, your trigger hand is behind your body. The Palm safety requires a near impossible hand placement, requiring a sustained contortion of the wrist to activate throttle. There is no balance to the saw, not even a little. The attachment point for the harness is way aft of the saw. It would take 6 foot arms to keep saw manageable. The alternative is to get directly under cut, curling saw up, so you can activate palm safety and then make your cut, dropping branches on your own head. I promise you, the engineers never tried to use this thing. I'd try another design. April 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great features I got this a month or two ago and have been very happy with it works grant and easy to use May 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by built very well I have 50 acres of trees that have been neglected for the last thirty years. This unit makes easy work out of cutting high limbs .I would recommend this echo pruner to anybody that needs a pruner that is going to get the job done with power to spare .The 12" bar is great just a seriously solid pruner. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Purchase Be prepared to assemble it. Not to hard but I thought for sure it would come put together like you see at your local lawn mower shops. September 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Grateful Customer of Echo Pole Saw Recently tried a generic battery operated Pole saw that could not keep a charge beyond two branches being cut. Returned it and was lucky enough to have a trained Echo sale counselor at store to explain it's many features. Loaded up an old Chevy pick up with finally trimming dead branches that grew for over 30 years. Did not disappoint at all and it worked like a pro fast and efficiently with clean cuts. Very impressed and so glad the cost of a quote to trim my tree's paid for itself with this purchase! Thanks Echo! October 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good overall value, although a bit pricey. Get the model with straight handle throttle. Overall this a good machine but it gets pretty heavy after an hour or so. You have to use the shoulder strap for any extended use. I wish I had gotten the model with the throttle on the straight shaft (PPT-266B), not the ergonometric. It is often difficult to press the safety handle, then throttle when stretching for a cut. All Echo products I've used are quality machines, but you pay the price. April 22, 2014
