Rated 3 out of 5 by from great saw have always thought Echo makes the best little saws. easy to assemble , easy start only... great saw have always thought Echo makes the best little saws. easy to assemble , easy start only one problem seems to be busting out a little, starts easy idles great but when running full throttle does not stay full throttle have to work the gas to keep at full throttle. Hope it is because it is new maybe run a few tanks through it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Tree saw Bought this BC I needed to climb and dismantle two 100+ foot pines near my house. Only had it a couple of months but I've run about 15 tanks through it. No issues so far. Takes a little while to warm up to full power but once it's there, it has no trouble getting through 12" of trunk. Not much low end torque, you need to be on the throttle before attempting a cut. Local Husky dealer refused to sell or service the T435 so I opted for the CS-303T. Paid for itself already. No regrets, great saw!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Professional choice Just bought it a couple days ago and I'm happy. I liked the design of the previous models, the cs-3000 and the cs-341. They have a great power to rate ratio. They're easy to work with and they last a long time. My crew of 6 use and abuse them all the time and they still last almost forever. If I could choose just one saw to own forever it'd be this with a 16" bar. They are amazing saws. My dad's been in business for over 30 years and he swears by echo small top handle saws.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Saw I just bought this saw last week and it is important to say that this is a good saw but with that being said I have a few things to point out. First the saw runs reliably it starts with in a couple pulls and after it warms up runs pretty well. A few things that concern me; one the spark plug is exposed and is located right next to the lanyard hoop and could be broken while climbing. Two the air filter is on the front of the unit by the chain and you need a flat screwdriver to open the housing. I was intially concerned about the location at first because I thought it may pull in too much dust and clog the filter but that hasn't been the case. Third the on/off switch is on the main body of the saw right next to the handle, I could see the possibility of hitting the switch accidentally. One last thing, I would say that a 14in bar would be as big as I would go with this saw I was hoping to put a 16in on it but i am concerned that it may be a little light on power. The power concerns maybe unwarrented but it did seem to struggle once the 12 in. bar barried in a log, it cut it but I had to be careful of how much down pressure was put on the chain. The chain may have been a little dull as well. Anyway this is a good quality saw that should do well for anyone wanting a prunning/climbing saw

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and powerful I couldn't find any real world video's or many reviews on this saw so here's my take. We added tree services to our already existing landscaping/plowing company and I was going between this and Sthil. After I took some time to go to the two dealers to compare all the different models I decided on this one. At half the price of a Sthil but still getting a great commercial saw it was a smart choice! It has tons of power and the 14" bar is a perfect match. We don't use it every day and have owned it for about 2 months but it has a 10"x30ft limb, a trimming job, a handful of very large Burning Bushes and 2-30ft pines under it's belt along with all the brush that comes along with those jobs and so far so good. The base of those pines were 14-16" and it zipped through them like butter. It's light enough to make several one handed cuts in a row if necessary. I was concerned about the on/off switch like other's said but after using it several times my hand doesn't come near the switch unless I need it to. Fires up on the second or third pull, however I wish it was a bit easier to pull like our other Echo equipment is but not a major deal. So far it's been a great addition!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little saw This is the second top handle Echo saw I've bought. The first one was a gift for my dad several years ago. Both of us were very impressed with how well it ran and how easy it was to start. When the time came to replace my aging McCulloch I passed up all of the bargain brand saws and spent a little more for my own Echo. I'm happy to say it runs just like the first one. Every low limb and sapling on the place came down the first weekend I owned it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super lightweight I purchased this saw about one month ago and found quickly that I should have had this saw a long time ago. I use it to limb larger trees and prune crepes. Starts on 2nd pull, lightweight, and can use safely with one hand. Delight to use.
