Answer:
In my opinion, The CS330T is just slightly under powered. If your cutting limbs 8inches and under your in great shape but I wouldn't spend a lot of time working on any diameter above 8 inches that is where I would suggest going with the 341.

Answer:
My only experience is with the CS330T-14. It has plenty of power. Don't think you need the bigger engine on the 341 unless you are thinking about a bigger bar in the future.

ECHO chain saws combine superior balance, outstanding control and vibration reduction technology to give you a powerful, easy cutting saw with trouble free handling. When selecting a saw, it is important to select a model that is comfortable for you and that it fits the requirements for your application.
The CS-341 is a long time favorite among professionals and arborists due to its outstanding history and proven reliability. The top handle on the CS-341 is extended to provide you with greater reach, maneurability and control. On the other hand, the CS-330T model provides 15% more power when compared to the CS-341. The CS-330T also features the G-Force Filtration system for reduced air filter maintenance and a rear mounted tool-less air filter cover for easy access. Both models accept a 12”, 14” and 16” bar and chain. Read Less

Answer:
The bar length is the cutting length. This is measured from the front of the saw to tip of the bar.

Answer:
The CS-341 uses a reed valve engine. The CS-330T uses a new piston ported engine design. The new CS-330T engine design will provide more power from a smaller displacement.

14 in. 32.6 cc Gas Chainsaw is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 73.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great small saw I bought this saw because of the light weight and top handle design. I have a much larger saw which is considerably heavier, making it impossible to use one handed while on a ladder. I was concerned about the 330 having sufficient power, I shouldn't have been. This little saw is great and I find myself using it more frequently than my large saw. I wouldn't recommend it for heavy use gathering quantities of firewood but for a homeowner needing a saw for storm cleanup, tree maintenance, or other similar jobs I would recommend it highly. In other words when used for its intended purpose, and especially at.this price it would be hard to beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent My first chain. Used it to cut quite a bit of wood last summer and this fall from trees to old fence boards, Cut all like butter. I like the kick back guard. Starts with a few pulls from sitting cold for 2 months or more. Easy to take apart and clean. No regrets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Chain saw I ever used Let me tell you,I been in the lawn and tree business for long time,I had used other brands of chain saws but this is my first Echo chain saw. This is by far the best chain saw I ever owned and used.I love this thing! It cuts thick branches like its butter. Its worth the money, may cost little more than other makes but its the best one in my mind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent little saw! When a tree service company pruned my live oak trees recently, they had several Echo CS-330T saws. The owner said that they had used several other brands, but that this saw was the most durable and reliable of the lot, and that they use it for all kinds of cutting despite its light weight and short bar. So I bought my own! On first use, I used it to fell a couple of trees and clean up the mess. It went through a 12-in diameter oak trunk like butter. My only criticism is of the Instruction Manual, rather than the saw. The cold-start instructions (which I assume are applicable to the first start of a brand-new saw) are to close the choke and pull the rope 7 times (maximum) or until a starting pop is heard. I could not get the saw started using these instructions, so I referred to the the Echo web site, where I learned (in the FAQs) that more than three pulls would flood the carburetor and that it is engineered to start in fewer than three pulls. When I used the web-site's instructions for starting a flooded saw, it popped on the second pull and started on the third. Ever since then, it has started on the first or second pull and run like a scalded dog!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Outstanding product Having a shoulder injury, this chainsaw is perfect; lightweight and top handle design gives it a balanced feel. I've used it on my weekends from dawn to dusk clearing 2 1/2 acres of underbrush (infamous yeapon) and have only minor issues with it: 1) the chain seems to "loosen" up quite often so I have to stop and tighten it; 2) if you let it cool much longer than it takes to refuel/oil, it doesn't want to crank back up - you then have to let it completely cool down before it'll crank again. I've cut brush as small as 1/4 inch up to a few oaks that were 8-10 inches. Used it so much already that I've bought a second chain just so I'll always have a sharp one on hand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 9 Years and going strong! When I first bought this saw, I ran the Bleep out of it. Lots of trees to be cut down! I've had it stuck in awkward positions, dropped many times accidently. This little saw has great power and has been used and abused when outside temps were 110 degrees (South Texas).....I put it down and it's smoking. I mainly use it now for maintenance of tree line and cutting mesquite for BBQ wood. Has always started right away. Recently after not touching it for 8 months, started like a champ. I have to replace the guide bar studs now cause I over tightened them but overall a well built saw and tremendous value.
