When I first bought this saw, I ran the Bleep out of it. Lots of trees to be cut down! I've had it stuck in awkward positions, dropped many times accidently. This little saw has great power and has been used and abused when outside temps were 110 degrees (South Texas).....I put it down and it's smoking. I mainly use it now for maintenance of tree line and cutting mesquite for BBQ wood. Has always started right away. Recently after not touching it for 8 months, started like a champ. I have to replace the guide bar studs now cause I over tightened them but overall a well built saw and tremendous value.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Briguy poor design for priming and starting
I bought this last July after a bad storm left many trees in the driveway, cleared by a neighbor who was the only one around with a chain saw. We made our purchase then, in the event of the next bad storm. No storms happened since then so 8 months later, still new in the box, I used it to take care of light clean up for the spring of 2016 First time starting, was not easy as it has no primer and it flooded despite following instructions to the letter. It did eventually start, worked as it should. Next day, same thing. Took many attempts during the day to get it to start and not flood. Did fine once it started. I went back to Home Depot, They don't accept returns of gas related items after 30 days and redirected me to Echo repair. Repair what? It was brand new out of the box, and a poor design. They stopped carrying this model at Home Depot for good cause so this review is probably moot.

This unit replaced the same style echo unit that I had owned for 10 years or more. that unit was strong and faithful, trouble free and easy to use even when performing tasks much larger than one would expect. This new unit seems just as fit , powerful, and quick to rev as the older unit and doesn't know its size. buy one and you will not be disappointed. my old one would still be running strong had I not loaned to a tree man working for my neighbor. his saw broke down and only needed mine for about 10 minutes to finish the job. He finished the job, got paid. he really liked my 10 year old saw so he took it with him. address unknown--shame on me!!!!
thank you echo for making great stuff.

I have two other chain saws, one Husquavarnaa and an older Echo Cs 340. The older Echo is a much better saw than the 330T.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by whp4262 Good Arbor saw
I purchased the Echo CS-330T about 5 years ago to do some trimming and it is still going strong. I've had to replace the chain a couple times but other then that it has been trouble free. I also have the PAS 280 power head and the 680 chain saw. None of them were cheap to purchase but they are not cheaply made either. Good equipment.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Matt #1 most stolen chainsaw from Home Depot, must be good.
This chainsaw must be the greatest chainsaw in the world. It must have gold parts or something. Is it designed by NASA engineers or something? I have tried to go to 3 different home depot that the said that the next one had them in stock, but they didn't. They told me that it must be stolen. The first question I had was how the heck do you get that out of the store, in your pants? I would love to even try one of these incredible saws that everyone must be stealing because it must cut wood like butter. So if you can find one, you might want to snack it up, but watch out because it will probably get stolen also since it is so freakin incredible. All so I can make a wooden bowl or two.
