I purhased the CS352 four years ago knowing Echo is far better than the cheapo brands, and my back needed something very light. Husqvarna had been my choice for 30 years, but they have nothing to offer like this. Many reviewers here complain about chains falling off, but any saw with the micro lite bars simply need to watched more closely, particularly the first two hours. Me, I do use only Still chain and experience less stretch than with other brands. Two small knocks, fuel capacity is small and, it uses as much bar oil as fuel. I still give 5 stars because for $250 nothing can touch it. I plan on getting a CS400 next. I think my back can handle one more pound of easy to use Echo.

Had this saw working within ten minutes! Had worked in the woods in the 60s in northern Ca and have had chainsaws all my life. This one is sweet . well balanced , easy starts not a complicated choke or adjustments. . Smallest saw I ever owned yet did everything I asked . Glad I bought it . Gave away my old Mac and Poulan

Had this saw about 3 years now.Love that it is light weight and is great for the smaller tree branches but will still eat through larger ones as well. With the choke on it usually fires on the first pull and starts on second.I would . Great little saw and a back saver.

The Echo CS-352 is a great saw to have at home, I have the 16 inch bar and it's all you need for most jobs. I wish I got it sooner.

I've had the saw a little over a week but have used it to cut 4 trees already and 5 tanks of fuel. Maple and Tulip Poplar. It goes right through both. The largest Tulip was 18" at the base, had to work the bar a bit to get through it but no issues. I could have used one of my larger saws, but wanted to see what this thing could do when buried after breaking it in. I had a Stihl MS170 before the 352 and it felt like it was way over it's head once in 6"-8" wood. The Echo feels like it's ok with cutting larger things, but I'll keep it 8" and smaller. The Stihl would constantly stop the chain and have to be lifted out of the cut. Haven't had that problem yet with the the Echo. It's only 10% larger cc than the MS170, but feels so much more powerful. I weighed both saws and they're both exactly 9.0 lbs on my scale.
Will definitely use and recommend Echo over Stihl from here on. I've started the 352 about 30 times so far and it's 3 pulls when cold and 1-2 pulls hot. The Stihl cold start process was a ritual of pulling, cleaning plug, pulling, cleaning plug, starting fluid, cussing and pulling till it fired. Love the 3 pull cold starts. It was only 5 pulls when brand new out of the box.

I have had my Echo chainsaw about one month and have used it on some medium size cutting jobs. It has performed without a hitch. The features are easy to under stand especially for a novice cutter. If asked to recommend this to a neighbor or friend, I would certainly do so. I have other Echo products that also enjoy my confidence.
