Today's emission certified engines are adjusted leaner and combined with the use of fuel containing 10% ethanol results in higher internal engine temperatures. Use of regular unleaded 87 octane fuel could cause detonation inside the combustion chamber which will result in severe internal engine damage and is not covered by ECHO's product warranty. Using fuels that have an octane rating of 89 or higher will help protect the engine from the harmful effects of detonation. Read Less

Does the 36.3cc saw cut faster? I need something for relatively light occasional use in the yard, usually on wood that is 2 -5 inches in diameter.

Answer:
Echo Rep - If you see this, I was asking about two different models: CS-370 vs. CS-352. They both have a 16 inch model, but the 370 has a bigger engine. I assume that means the 370 is more powerful, but I wasn't sure.

Answer:
This is no difference between models, CS-352-16 and CS-352-16AA. The "16" is indicating the Chain Saw comes with a 16" bar and chain. The "AA" is a packaging/shipping code for Home Depot.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 159 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great chainsaw for storm cleanup after TS Colin I purchased this for clean up after tropical storm Colin damaged my trees and took down my fence. This saw performed flawlessly and has made the removal of downed limbs a breeze. I also used it to cut all the panels of fence down to manageable size pieces for removal after being knocked down by the storm. This saw has so much more power than my old chainsaw and it started right up on the second pull right out of the box! I must say it also looks great next to my new Echo trimmer in the shed. No more buying cheap products for me. You can feel the difference in quality and power of both tools is more than enough to get the job done ! June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great saw I needed a couple of new saws,i made up my mind to try a echo and another brand the echo is a 14" and the other was a 16"the echo did everything I needed it to do started easy ran strong starts up 1st pull after warmed up, the other brand gave me some trouble ,hesatation on throttle hard starting after warmed up, took it back and got another one same brand same size, I wanted to give it another chance same thing so I took it back and got another echo, these are my 1st echo products , I'm empressed June 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Powerful little saw Bought this saw a month ago to replace a cheap chinese knock off that didn't last 1 tank of fuel. I'm not hard on saws just demand a lot out of them. This saw has the power to cut threw hedge 12" dai. with no issues let the saw do it's job don't force it. Did some rip cuts on said hedge and no issues, cutting threw it like a big saw would. Small saw with a big saw attitude that's what I like about echo saws. This and my echo trim saw are great saws with plenty of power if you let the saws do the work don't force cut. If you must force the saw change the chain your dule. June 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good saw at a good price !!!!! Looked at major brand saws.......either they were heavy or had choke buttons in a easy to snap off position....read reviews and this saw had very little bad reviews......I have to be honest the 10% off with Home Depot credit didn't hurt either....first time started after a couple pulls......I have cut down several trees and impressed by the saw's power....very happy with saw.......... Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Light weight This saw is easy starting and light weight. The five year warranty is what sold me on an Echo over a Stihl May 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nice saw I bought a weed eater about a year ago and it was time to replace my old chain-saw,,so this weed eater has been so good and cranked so good---I decided to get an ECHO saw. To my amazement - after two pulls that little saw was running. it has all the features that I like ,, very powerful and just what I needed around the house. I have cut several trees and it goes thru them like butter. Glad I made this choice,,great saw. May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Saw I bought this saw almost a year ago and have not had any trouble with it. I use the saw almost every day cutting everything from soft pine to hard oak, maple and cherry ranging from small limbs to 31 inch double cuts. This saw is almost 2 pounds lighter than any of my other saws, making it less fatiguing. Some of my other saws would require a considerable cool down period after cutting full bar for 30 to 40 minutes, while the Echo CS-352 requires a much shorter if any cool down period after doing the same thing, making it more productive. It did throw the chain on it's first use, but has not done so since, unlike some of my other saws which threw them once a week. It starts easier than any of my other saws do or ever did. Overall, this is the best saw I have ever owned. My next outdoor power tool will almost certainly be an Echo. May 27, 2016
