I bought this as a refurbished saw. Came in a box with nothing but the saw. I guess that is why it was such a good price. I have now put a few tanks of gas through it falling 6-12" alder trees on our property. It cuts great as long as I don't force it to much because if I do I can stop the chain. It could use a bit more power. Always starts right up within a couple of pulls. Not to crazy about the throttle set when you use the choke. Using the choke also sets the throttle full on so when you turn the choke off and start it the engine runs full speed. Compared to my old 1960's vintage saw I was using this is great.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Customer Easy to use. Light weight.
Not the easiest chainsaw to get started but once it's running it does a great job. Light weight makes it easy to use from a ladder or when climbing into position in a tree.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Brad Frustrating to get started, but good afterward
Took me three hours to get this thing started. The problem was due to the instruction booklet not having a "first time starting" guide. I followed those instructions and ended up flooding the engine. After a while of letting it sit, trying it again, I noticed a tag I removed that had instructions that said what to do a bit differently on the first run. Ended up watching a youtube video on how to de-flood a chainsaw (unscre the spark plug, hold upside down, pull the cord 20 times, put spark plug and everything else back together, keep choke IN, then start). After that I *finally* got it started. After that I used it for an hour, so far so good.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by paulf So easy to start and use
I bought my echo CS352 in Feb 2016 and have used it a lot since then. It is really easy to start and runs very well. there is no kickback and it certainly cuts above its class. It the second Echo saw I have bought - the first was a CS450 and still going strong

Top of a tree fell during a July MN storm. Finally got around to the bigger wood that needed more exertion from me or something more 21st century. Worked wonders - the greatest wonder being how woodsmen worked without these machines.
Now I'm praying for more storms so I can clear-cut my yard and install solar.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brando Great Stihl eplacement
My Stihl unfortunately burned up in a grass fire and I didnt want to fork out the $600.00 to replace it. My goal was to get a good quality saw at around $300.00. This saw exceeded expectations... it came in under budget at $260.00 and definitely delivered on the quality. This saw performs out of the box almost as good as saws double in price. If you're looking for a great mid-level saw that is cost effective and has great performance, but this one with confidence.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Larry D Great saw, great price, and great warranty.
Now retired I needed to catch up with the trees that are on our 6 acres. My old Husky 61, was getting to heavy for me to use for cutting small trees and limbs. The old Poulan was hard to start and keep running. I needed something light, had power, and would start easy and keep running. I found it in the Echo CS-352-16. It does everything that I need it to do. I use the Echo to help with the cutting for the woodstove for this winters heating season. Very happy with the Echo.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Snookmaster Great chainsaw for storm cleanup after TS Colin
I purchased this for clean up after tropical storm Colin damaged my trees and took down my fence. This saw performed flawlessly and has made the removal of downed limbs a breeze. I also used it to cut all the panels of fence down to manageable size pieces for removal after being knocked down by the storm. This saw has so much more power than my old chainsaw and it started right up on the second pull right out of the box! I must say it also looks great next to my new Echo trimmer in the shed. No more buying cheap products for me. You can feel the difference in quality and power of both tools is more than enough to get the job done !
