CS352 (16") vs CS310 (14") vs CS330 (14") .... $199 vs $259 dollars...help me decide what to buy?

I just need a saw to cut branches, fallen limbs and sometimes whole trees that fall at a semi- rural property. I always used a 14" electric saw, an older model Sears. I usually cut limbs less than 12" in diameter, but need potential to cut bigger once in a while. All of these sawa are nice and lightweight, What one is better starting wise? Are CS352, CS310 reed valve, but the CS330 piston port? I am leading toward the CS352, but wonder if the CS330 has a better engine design and the same power for the price. Is the CS330 made better and it also weighs a little less? I can always put a 16" bar on the CS330 if I ever needed for a bigger cut, but will it handle it as well as the CS352? Or should I be budget minded and do the CS310, my main concern is if the saw is cheaper because it is built with poorer quality.

Answer:
I recommend purchasing the CS352 as I bought my last year. I also looked at the 310 but decided to spend the extra for extra power and longer bar& chain. I have been using larger saws for over 40 years and love the way the 352 handles and cuts. The 352 will cut the whole trees you occasionally have quite well.

Answer:
I've had my CS352 for about a month and I've had no issues other than wearing out the chain (don't get the moving chain in the dirt). This one starts very easily and is powerful for the size. The chain guard at the end give about a 14" cutting area. If the 14" has the same thing, the cutting area is reduced as well.

310 and 352 is the same except for the additional power of the 352.
CS-310 is 30.5cc and CS-352 is 34.0cc. I bought the 352 yesterday and it runs like a dream and so very quiet.

Answer:
Nothing's worse than an under-powered machine. Always opt for the larger motor option if at all possible for anything that uses an engine. If it's too much money, I suggest renting.
My (limited) experience with Echo has been positive. I think the issue of quality is a wash between Echo models. I wouldn't go against design and add a larger bar for a model that was powered for a smaller bar.

Answer:
All three saws are built with commercial quality and piston ported engines. The The CS-330T is a top handle saw and is designed for trimming and limbing trees so it may not be the best saw for the type of work you are looking to do. This will narrow down the options in saws between the CS-310 and the CS-352. The CS-352 will offer more power than the CS-310 making the CS-352 an excellent option.

Answer:
What model are you referring to? Typically there is 1. Piston rings should last forever if properly lubricated assuming the machine is not abused otherwise. This is part of the engine, so the warranty terms of the engine would apply.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome saw Really needed to start cutting large tree limbs and branches around my home. Decided to do it myself and wanted a chainsaw that would last me a while. After researching and reading the positive feedback from so many users, this was my choice. After using this saw a few times already I am very happy with it and would recommend to your average home owner wanting to clean up your yard October 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Saw I bought this saw about a month ago, after my old chainsaw was stolen. I was surprised to no chain cover for it when not in use. So I purchased one separately and it works fine. I'm amazed not to find a saw of this caliber doesn't have a case of its own. For me at first it was very hard to start. That is until I read the whole book of instructions. Now it will start pretty quickly within five pulls. As long as you don't dull the chain, like hit the dirt with it or something like that. This saw is one beast when cutting. I use it primarily to cut fallen trees for firewood, and clean up around my property. October 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AN ABSOLUTE BEAST! I bought this chainsaw 2 weeks ago and have already cut several trees. I truly love that it is lightweight; very smooth & effective when cutting. Like I mentioned in the title, "AN ABSOLUTE BEAST". I can't say enough good things about this chainsaw and would highly recommend this product! October 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Starts great for even small folks! I am a 55 yr old widow and could not start my husband's Husqvarna even though it had an easy start mechanism. The Husqvarna repair guy recommended an Echo. I bought this saw and am thrilled! It started right up and had enough power to allow me to cut up a large fallen hickory tree. It was light enough for me to handle for an hour and a half at a time without my arms giving out. I am an Echo customer from now on! October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by easy start old saw wouldn't start...paid the higher price for Echo...haven't regretted my purchase! October 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fire wood for camping I bought this for cutting fire wood for camping, and I find it to be very easy to start, and it cuts very effectively. October 26, 2016
