Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by eatapeach I have used this saw for only two weeks but have yet to be dissappointed in any way.
I have used this saw to clear small brush behind my house. I have trimmed up some branches on my neighbors fruit trees. I also raised up some larger trees. All these things were done with ease. The power and balance of this saw was impressive. I would not hesitate to buy this item again.

The saw is lighter than my Mac110, has more power & a nice balance to it. I got the 16" bar & have had nothing but problems with the chain coming off. This has never happened once on my Mac in 20+ years. Maybe a different bar & chain or size (14") will work better. Outside of that problem it's a very nice all around saw!

Great saw, I've been getting into arborist work. Im usually up in trees on ropes cutting. I had a oregon 40v max chainsaw I was taking up with me, the charger stopped working for me so I returned that to buy this one. Starts 1st pull after initial cranking for a cold start, I can definately hold it with one hand while its cutting because of the t handle which was very important to me. I have 7 chainsaws and this was my first t handle. Awesome power, I would not spend 500 on a saw like this if I was just doing work from a ladder or on the ground. It can do that but I'd just get a saw for cheaper for those jobs. There is only one thing about the saw I'd say beware of, I'm scared that I will get the run around if I need to warranty this saw for whatever reason. I read over the warranty paper and it just seems like it would be a hassle. Im still in my 30 day return period and have used the saw a lot, no problems. Its just hard to spend $500 and be nervous about warranty repair vs spending $100 and worrying about warranty repair. If that is as important to you as it is to me, i think that is the only possible downside and was a hard choice for me when considering buying.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Conbadj The Echo CS-355T is the right choice!
I have been cutting firewood for over 20 years. I bought an Echo CS-600P and an Echo CS-355T. This is my 2nd season using these saws. The big saw knocks the trees down and cuts everything bigger than 10". The CS-355T does everything else from zipping off the twigs and branches to cutting firewood up to 10". These Echo saws are the best I've ever used. This little saw is powerful, starts dependably and is such a pleasure to use. I'm 53 years old and because it's so light and easy to handle, I still have plenty gas (energy) left in my own tank when I'm done using it. For me, the Echo CS-355T was the right choice.

Bought it a month ago. Used it to cut up branches and used it up in a tree. It has more than enough power to cut through any branch

I have an older one cs-360 and it has been a work horse. Looking for a new one i tried the stihl and husqvarna but could not beat the value of an echo.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pierre LeBlanc Best top handle I have tried.
I tried out several other arborist saws before I bought this Echo. I found it to be one of the most powerful and responsive ; it really pulls through a cut. I also loved the weight and balance, and felt that the build quality was excellent as well. I felt it was the best value out there. I have not been disappointed. It is easy starting, reliable, easy to service, and comfortable and light in the tree. Not sure how it compares on run time to others, but these saws have small tanks and need refilling often. I am extremely pleased with the saw and would definitely buy another one recommend to others.
