Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Silicon28 Great saw, good price, excellent service
This is my third Echo saw. I like the fact that I've got almost 37CC power with only 10 lbs of weight. (Granted the CS-400 weighs almost the same but the $60 price difference mattered to me.) Ordered it online and it arrive at the front doorstep four days later. Assembled it, added oil and gas, it started on the 4th pull; and I took down two 65 foot oak trees in a few hours. This saw cuts hardwood like a hot knife through butter. Plenty of reserve power, and light enough to work with until you get the job done. I love all my Echo equipment; and this one will be no different.

after I received and assembled my saw I quickly lubed it up and put fuel in for its trial run the saw started in 5 pulls I cut some light wood with no apparent strain on saw I shut saw off readjusted chain refueled and set the saw down for a week Next time saw started in 3 pulls and then I cut some large (14") dry ash, the saw went thru it with no effort I even ripped some ash with no apparent side effects this saw replaced another brand saw that had a larger motor and totally out performed the previous saw I strayed from echo saws for a while but never again

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by m21bmr A fine quality saw, that works when I need it.
I have had my CS-370 for about 4 years, and it has worked flawlessly every time I have needed it. My saw sees homeowner usage 4-5 times a year, but every time I need it, I just pull out the chainsaw, top off the fuel and bar oil, and start cutting. It is very satisfying to have a peice of equipment that just works when you need it.
The saw has the somewhat "classic" style controls of a separate on-off toggle switch and choke. It is simple for me to understand, use and operate. The engine has plenty of power for typical situations that a homeowner would face. I feel that the saw is capable of handling any situation that I need it to.

I bought this as my first echo saw, I have 31 other chainsaws, I cut around 50 cords a season, I know and love chainsaws, I have Husqvarna, stihl, homelight, and 5 Chinese chainsaws they all run like a demon, I just got this echo to see how they compare , it was very very lean and the hardest to start of any saw I've had except a cheaphitachi I got rid of, it wouldn't cut a log into, after some cussing and adjusting the carb its running good now but still has a hesitation, my h.440 or m.s.290 would put it to shame, for the money it isn't worth it,get a stihl or husq and you wont regret it.....if this were anybody's first saw there's no way they could get it to work...I have 50 yrs. experience with saws ...

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bens53 Awesome saw for smaller jobs.
I bought this saw for my small cutting projects and it works great for what I bought it for. I wish it had a .325 chain but it still works great with 3/8 profile chain. After using cold start procedure for the initial start, it always starts with one pull all day. I've used Stihl and Husky all the time and this is just as great on similar engine size. I like the five year warranty. I owned Echo weed-eater and it performed awesome, 2 years past warranty period and still runs great. Always drain your gas mix when you don't plan on using for a while and always use highest grade of gas, never use ethanol and keep chain sharp.

This saw runs and cuts great. I use it for cutting oak firewood and have not had any problems with it. My father likes how easy it starts and how well it performs he wants to trade me his Stihl saw for my Echo.
