Rated 5 out of 5 by WOW what a saw I bought my first professional ECHO chain saw in 1974. I'd still be using it if someone hadn't wanted it more than I (had to go through a locked door and a locked bin). I replaced it with this top handle saw but was hesitant because it was different from the rear handle saw I had been using in the tree for almost 40 years. It is even better than the original in the tree. I'm teaching my grandson to climb and he loves the saw, too! September 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A wood cutting machine! I bought this a month ago and put it to the test the first week. I got in over my head on a job and this saw saved me. Due to a bad chain on my big saw i ended up taking down a 60' tall pine with this saw. 32" at the stump, it can be done just not ideal and alot to type out, have pictures and 3 eye witnesses if you doubt it can be done. Saw performed amazing, ive had previous Husky top handles and this blows them away. So good for the money, so good period. Cutting a 32" stump: Cut notch from both sides, bore in from one side and work saw around whole tree placing wedge in back as you get past it, bore in from front of notch to clear out wood in middle the 14" bar couldn't reach. Smack wedge and down it went. I would not have believed it if i hadnt done it myself, took 15 minutes. June 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! I am not a arborist so this saw is a bit extravagant but who cares? I love this little saw. The big husqvarna is collecting dust. June 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Great saw, I've been getting into arborist work. Im usually up in trees on ropes cutting. I had a oregon 40v max chainsaw I was taking up with me, the charger stopped working for me so I returned that to buy this one. Starts 1st pull after initial cranking for a cold start, I can definately hold it with one hand while its cutting because of the t handle which was very important to me. I have 7 chainsaws and this was my first t handle. Awesome power, I would not spend 500 on a saw like this if I was just doing work from a ladder or on the ground. It can do that but I'd just get a saw for cheaper for those jobs. There is only one thing about the saw I'd say beware of, I'm scared that I will get the run around if I need to warranty this saw for whatever reason. I read over the warranty paper and it just seems like it would be a hassle. Im still in my 30 day return period and have used the saw a lot, no problems. Its just hard to spend $500 and be nervous about warranty repair vs spending $100 and worrying about warranty repair. If that is as important to you as it is to me, i think that is the only possible downside and was a hard choice for me when considering buying. June 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by I have used this saw for only two weeks but have yet to be dissappointed in any way. I have used this saw to clear small brush behind my house. I have trimmed up some branches on my neighbors fruit trees. I also raised up some larger trees. All these things were done with ease. The power and balance of this saw was impressive. I would not hesitate to buy this item again. June 10, 2013
