Great blower for the money! It has power similar to a professional blower. We ordered it from Home Depot online and it came to us in good time!

I had wanted a leaf blower for a long time, my wife didn't think we needed one she is from Thailand and does everything by hand. She went and stayed last fall with a friend of ours who had this same blower. She came home and took me to Home Depot and bought it right away. Oh By the way we live on almost 3 acers with allot of large oaks on the property. This machine took the leaves that had been embedded in the ground for years up. I am very pleased with it's preformance

I bought my PB-500 last fall and glad I did. It cut my yard work in half! the power it delivers surpased my old blower, and a lot less stress on the arms lugging the old one around

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JustonB84 Excellent Blower!
I've had this blower going on six months now and I'm very satisfied with everything about it. I bought this and pretty much all of my other equipment for residential use, I have a 2 acre yard and 10 acres of property to maintain; so I tend to only buy commercial grade equipment. When it comes to blowers, chainsaws, multi tools, weedeaters, or pole saws Echo and Stihl are the only contenders for me. This is the first Echo blower that I have owned or used, but being familiar with the brand and my experience with Echo chainsaws I was confident in the brand. I was a little concerned however, the pb500 might not be powerful enough to handle the amount of heavy wet leaves I have on my land, I debated on the Stihl 750 along with the Echo. Conderideng the $265 price difference between the two, coupled with the relative weight difference (Echo being considerably lighter, more balanced, secure and comfortable feeling after wearing for an hour or so.. IMO) I decided to give it a chance. Now six months and hours of use later I still can't find any flaws in this blower. Other than the twist connect muzzle design works loose from time to time, I think a fixed one piece design would be better... That's hardly an issue worthy of complaints. I would purchase this blower a hundred times over, and for the record, I wouldn't hesitate to put it to commercial use with the best of them. I have talked to many professional landscapers / lawn care professionals who feel the same, and trust their livelihoods with this blower everyday.

I own several Echo products. Very impressed with the quality. The last Echo backpack blower I purchased lasted 19 yrs. It just recently needed some replacement parts after all that time but I decided to replace it with this current model. Home Depot had the best price and its online ordering process was flawless. Quick delivery. Blower was easy to put together. You can't go wrong with this blower. It has the power and strength to get the job done.

I had many products from Sears but none of them last one season, especially the backpack blower pro grade 7179400 bought for $200, used for only one hour then died, could not started. Tried to fix but did not work, brought it to the service center to learned that the cost of fixing is over $200 for part only, so I threw it away. My friend recommended the Echo P-500H which he used for a few years without any problems so I ordered that same model. I used twice and loved the power and easy to use. The only problem is it a little bit heavy but once it on your back everything works great.
