I went back and forth with saw brands and am pleased to report I made the right choice with Echo. I am more than happy with this saw and look forward to using it every time! Easy start, not too loud and runs strong thru the cut. Great weight to power ratio yet small enough to use for hours. I'm very happy with the cs450 and like the auto style air filter and access a lot.

I purchased my CS450 to remove several large trees that were damaged by a recent windstorm. It was easy to assemble, started right up, and sliced thru 12 in. diameter trunks. Well balanced.

The saw makes a lot of noise but cuts like a poulan you can buy for half the price. It's doggy it gets bogged down on small limbs and the chain is dull garbage. Mostly plastic parts.....

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by kalvin good power and good warranty
cuts great plus good warranty. only complaint is it takes a different 18" blade than other 18" echo saw. have to use Oregon G72 blade which is for Husqvarna

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dice88 very impressed with my echo saw
No chainsaw is built like they where 20 years ago not even a sthi or husky. My echo starts very easy two or three pulls. Motor is strong,i cut 5 or 6 cords of wooda year.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by adamc the perfect midsize saw
Got a smoking deal on the 450-20" and the 590-20" as a package deal, to finally upgrade from my trusted old 1972 Mac 10-10 auto, and no regrets. The 450 is well balanced, well built, lightweight, and ran & started very well as delivered. But it seemed it was being held back. I ran some of my 32:1 lucas semi synthetic mix, ditched the carb limiters and fine tuned it running hard into tamarack.....Whoa what a saw this is now. There is no stopping it, fast cutting and easy to handle with tons of power after the retuning. I planned on just using it for trimming and limbing my firewood, but I found myself using it for bucking logs all the way up to 20" diameter. It runs right up there with 55cc saws. Love this little monster saw.
