Do I need to register it online to ECHO to entitle the warranty the warranty they provided.

I brought this product via Home Depot online. I received it 4 weeks and had been used for a few times. Its nice and user friendly.
Asked by: albert
Yes. Well, if you want to have the fastest and best response from the manufacturer, you should register your products as you buy them. Echo has really stood behind their line of 58-Volt products.

21 in. 58-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Mower is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 269.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Echo mower Very happy with purchase. Sound of operation is very low and cuts great. Storage is convenient. Battery life on my front and backyard used 1/2 of charge and it takes an hr to mow my yards. Very satisfied.

I had a corded lawn mower for many years and finally decided to hang up the cord and try a cordless battery lawn mower. After extensive research, I decided to purchase the 58 volt ECHO lawn mower. It has the longest warranty that being 5 years. Brought it home and charged the battery to full charge in 30 minutes. This mower is very quiet and cuts extremely well. The battery had 2 bars left after cutting a half acre of grass. My neighbor saw the new mower and is giving up his gasoline mower to purchase this lawn mower. I have very little space in my garage and this mower stands up. I was impressed by the sturdiness of this mower that I purchased the ECHO weed trimmer that utilizes the same battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent mower This mower is great for anyone that needs a push mower. It is light weight and has plenty of power and battery life. I was sceptical of buying a cordless mower but Im glad I did no more going and getting gas, changing oil/spark plugs/air filters. Best of all its quiet and i dont have to wonder if its going to start after sitting

The mower is fairly light and easy to set up and store. The battery charge has lasted about an hour and that is using the mower to cut really heavy grass. It has powered through some pretty tough conditions that would have challenged my old gas mower. The batteries take about an hour to recharge after a complete discharge. It normally takes me an hour and a half to do my lawn. I went through 1 fully charged battery and about half of the other battery (I bought 2 batteries and chargers). I'm planning on purchasing an Echo 58 volt string trimmer soon. So, at the moment this purchase was a home run for me. If the batteries hold up a couple of years or more it will have been a great purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW! - ECHO Lawn Mower I love this mower! I'm used to using gas mowers, but when it was time to get a new mower I knew I wanted to get an electric model. I was torn between this one and the eGO model. I went with this one based on the feedback the Home Depot rep gave me about the accessories that use the same battery and her opinion that the ECHolO accessories were better. I also liked the fact that each wheel is individually adjustable and the ECHO mower looks like a traditional mower. In terms of performance, wholly cow, this thing is great. I'll break performance down to a few categories: Battery life- I have about a 9000sf lot. Standard sized for your typical sub division. I can mow my lawn, edge and weed wack all on one battery. One battery on full charge will last about 45 minutes. So far that is with standard cuts, nothing wet or heavy. I'd suspect the battery to last about 30-35 minutes of you were cutting heavy grass. What's nice about this model is that there is space for two batteries and a handy "key" that you can use to switch between batteries. Ease of use- very easy to use. The mower folds up nice for storage. It is not heavy, maybe 40lbs, making it very easy to push along heavy grass, slight inclines, etc. Starting the mower is as easy as flipping on a switch. One thing that I noticed is that the mower will adjust the motor based on how hard the mower is working. The motor will spin faster for heavy cutting and slow down a bit for lighter cutting. This does not affect the end result at all. Sound- I was weary about this... its a lawn mower. I didn't want to to sound like I was vacuuming my lawn. It doesn't really sound like a vacuum, but you can tell it's electric. It sounds like a medium sized floor fan. It's not very loud either. I'd be comfortable using this mower in during earlier mornings and not waking my neighbors. Overall, I love this mower and I'm very glad I got it. Would I buy it for a commercial business? Probably not, not unless I had a couple dozen batteries. But it's great for home use. I'm anxious on how long one battery will last since they are expensive to replace, but in the long run I do not think they cost will outweigh the maintenance and fuel cost of a standard mower. So many benefits and really no cons.

Coming from a Honda 190cc self propelled mower, which finally wore out after 10 years, I hesitantly bought this mower, along with the matching blower and string trimmer. I like the overall design - easy vertical storage is a great design feature. Composite deck is nice and light - and plenty beefy - no worries about the sturdiness there. Independent adjustment of wheels doesn't bother me, since I hate the look of the adjustment bars which link the wheels together on other systems. Not self propelled - thats OK; its light enough, and I could use more exercise! The look of this mower is just right - conventional and clean. It doesn't look like a toy, but without the noise, vibration, and weight that I am so used to, it kind of feels like a toy when you are mowing with it. First few times using it, I had to keep looking behind me because it just didn't sound or feel like it could possibly be doing the job. It does seem to work OK, and applies more power as you get into the thicker stuff, but come summer, with thick St. Augustine, I do wonder... With a normal late summer 1-week growth, used up 1 battery, and about a quarter of the next on my small suburban yard. I expect I'll need both 4ah batteries to finish the job in mid-summer. The blade is much thinner than a typical gas mower blade, so if you hit a root, expect to have to take it off to straighten it out. Of course it may never come to that, since on the third mowing, she wouldnt "start". A few clicks and wheezy turns of the blade, but then nothing. Not a good start, and that explains the rating. Back it went to Home Depot - and thanks to Home Depot, a painless return. Now, since I'm all-in on the whole system, I've ordered another 58V mower - sure hope this one lasts. As for the rest of the system - since I assume most people will be looking at buying the mower as part of the system - blower is OK (a bit bulky, and not as powerful as my old gas powered blower, but adequate), and string trimmer seems way more powerful than my old 4-stroke trimmer (though I haven't gotten used to the bump feed head which sucks the string in as often as it lets it out). Bought an edger attachment, and it edges without any problems at all (impressive). I bought the mower, trimmer and blower separately for less than the bundled package ( and ended up with more stuff: three chargers, 2 4ah batteries, and 2 2ah batteries). I am still hopeful that I won't regret buying into this Echo 58V system, because it sure is convenient to just stick a battery in and go.

Love this system and with all the 5 star reviews,I won't repeat those. I've had the mower for over 6 months now. It does great for mowing and picking up leaves too. Here's a new positive: I've been reading Consumer Reports since I was in high school back in the 50s. Don't always agree with all the ratings but it does give me something to go on. This mower was just given top marks in the new issue of CR. Check rated due to the lower price too. Enjoy : - )
