What is the difference between Echo Backpack blower 770T and 770H?

Asked by: Anonymous
The H version has the trigger system on the left of the blower, hip side, and is separate from the hand grip. The T version has the trigger built into the hand grip. Both systems have the exact specifications, except for the trigger.

do you have to add gas and/or oil?

Not sure what you mean by this. The blower is running on gas. The fuel is a mixture fuel with gas and oil combined.

234 MPH 765 CFM Gas Backpack Leaf Blower is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 243.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME Blower I am very happy with this blower. Just used on my 1 acre yard that's lined with many mature trees. I bought this to replace my Echo 265 backpack blower that still runs well but is outmatched with my yard. Doing the job with the 770 took me 25-30% of the time the 265 did. Amazing. Plus, many of the leaves were wet. Controls are easy as was starting it. My neighbor has a RedMax 8500 which is supposed to be more powerful, but I can't imagine. This does the job with ease sending piles 10-15 feet. Pony up, spend the money, do it right. You won't regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GETS THE JOB DONE I was using a guy to blow the leaves for $150, I decided to get a backpack blower that was the lowest model. Had the blower for 2 years and it didn't meet my expectations at all because all my neighbors leaves also blow onto my property that it is too much for me to use my lawnmower and a low grade blower. So I bought this lawnmower it got the job done in 10min maximum love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overkill for Homeowners. Just what I wanted I originally bought the Echo backpack blower that is just below this model because this model is not carried in the HD stores. This model not only met but exceeded my expectations. Powerful and scours the ground much better than the model carried in the stores. If you can stretch your budget.. buy this beast. Awesome machine and always starts on 2nd or 3rd easy pull. Love it!

I went with the Echo based on the overwhelming reviews on how well this product works. It was easy to assemble and started on the second pull. It has cut my leaf blowing time in half vs my old Ryobi BP42....500CFM. I only use 100% gasoline w/ a stabilizer in it per my friend that works on small engine yard tools. This unit is very powerful and I only have 2 minor drawbacks. The shoulder straps do not have a horizontal clip to keep the straps tight to my chest. I have to constantly push the straps back onto my shoulders. The other is, which I had never experienced before, is the electrical shocking that takes place when the air and leaves are very dry. If there is moisture in the air and the leaves are dry, no problem. Apparently with moving such a large volume of air, this cause static electricity which makes your hand tingle while it's on the handle. To me, small price to pay to move those leaves so quickly. Overall, great machine so far!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It makes sense It makes sense to have a tool that works well and is easy to use. There are many features on this back pack blower that made so much sense and are so simple but other blowers don't have. For large amount of leaves to move this unit is great and I highly recommend it

I wanted the most powerful blower for around $500 I could get and this is it. Very happy with this purchase. Can blow wet leaves and blows leaves out of river rocks. Easy to start and although it's a little heavier than other units the power makes it worth while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best blower out there!! Couldn't be happier with this purchase! Starts easy, extremely strong, low maintenance, comfortable, etc. makes blowing my 2 acres a breeze! If there were a con the only one would be the extension interlocks can be tough to get locked all the way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine Great machine but keep plenty of gas on hand because it will use it. Otherwise plenty of power starts every time.
