Answer:
ECHO power blowers feature both the ability to move debris (MPH) and keep it moving (CFM); this combination of high speed and high volume air output combine to create a blower that will perform the job and be comfortable to operate.

The main difference I see is the 770T has 756 cfm vs 651 cfm of the 755ST model. So the 770 can push a higher volume of air through the blower tube in one minute then the 755. There are other subtle differences not worth mentioning but one that stands out is the 770 has a diaphragm carburetor and the 755 uses rotary. From what I have read is the rotary gives better throttle response and produces lower emissions. Whichever model you choose I recommend avoiding ethanol fuels at the pump because it can clog up the carbs if you let it sit for over a month. I used a stabilizer and still had issues after one year. I rebuilt the carb myself and now use the pricey Echo premix fuel and have had no problems since. Not to mention the power of the blower has been restored. There is a gas station in my town that has non ethanol pump gas which I have not tried yet. Read Less

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 190 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Shockingly Powerful I have used several different portable gas powered products, and this blower is everything that is described by Echo. The only issue that I have is the static electrical shock that I receive from the throttle handle. This shock is most likely attributed to the very dry climate, but nothing that any pair of gloves doesn't mitigate. The forced-air venting on the pack works very well to keep cool during operation, and the unit comes with a ventilation blocking adapter when needed in the colder months. It is as if you have a built-in air conditioner on your back while you work. The blower starts immediately and performs well overall. May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This Echo gas backpack blower at 234 MPH will move anything!! The Echo234 mph 765 cfm model # 202042971 gas backpack blower will clear a path through almost anything! Even a grove of live oak trees - which we have a lot of here in central Florida will clear in no time even if the leaves are wet. Love this - loads of power - easy to use - starts right up. This replaces a echo blower that we used for many years but we needed a back-up in case it quit. Needless to say we have put the old blower to use for the smaller spaces and use the big new one where power is needed. Not too heavy and started right up. Very easy assembly. LOVE IT!! Should have gotten it sooner. June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product! great product. recommend this to anyone who wants a good blower. light weight. high power. easy to use. January 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AWESOME! I recently purchased a new home with a decent sized back yard. I only have 2 trees, but my neighbors have a bunch of different kinds of HUGE trees. With fall approaching I knew I needed a good blower. I was stuck between the pb770, and one model below. I'm SO glad I chose the top of the line. This blower is like a jet engine attached to your back. It actually torques your whole body under full throttle (not in a bad way). The straps are comfortable, it starts on the second or third pull every time, and it's just awesome. The first time I used it and went full throttle I blew some grass and leaves from the back of my driveway all the way into the street, unintentionally! That's a good 50 feet! Such a powerful blower, I couldn't ask for more. Will take a video next use if anyone is around to shoot it for me! November 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome! Easy to assemble, makes getting leaves gathered much easier - worth the money! I had a smaller blower & this was an upgrade, glad I found this one. December 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very good starts easy runs great very strong cut my time in half December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Blower actually saves fuel This Blower is the baddest blower this side of the Mississippi (Not in California). I have a 6 HP blower on wheels and this blows its doors off. You have to wonder how much fuel is being wasted (With Wussy Greeny Blowers) because the same area has to be worked twice. Sometimes we are so smart we are stupid. December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Blower! Great blower, used it for moving massive amounts of acorns and worked great. Cut leaf removal time in half compared to my 6 year old Echo PB413T. My only regret is I didn't buy it sooner even though it's a little pricey at $499. November 10, 2015
