Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 100 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome blower I bought this blower for multiple reasons. The main one is that I use stone instead of mulch and needed something with enough power to clear out the debris left over after yard work and time. I actually have to be careful since there is almost too much power and is quite capable of blowing my stone around. The blower is on the heavy side (glad its a backpack) and its pricey, but its what I needed to get the job done. I have only had it for a few months so how well it hold up will be the true test. Rated 5 out of 5 by A portable tornado I was concerned about having enough power, so I went straight to this unit. I've used it to blow gravel/grit that migrates from the road, branches, and of course, leaves. The power is so much that I've blown out clumps of dirt and living grass by its roots. You can actually feel the power of the engine try to turn your body when going full throttle - not from the wind blowing out from the nozzle, but from the gyroscopic action of the engine (I would spin in circles if I sat on a swivel seat). While the price is high to me, I am in no way disappointed with the power to spare. October 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super powerful!! I just bought one of these monsters a few weeks ago and am very impressed with the power. At first, I didn't think the $200 premium from the PB500 was really worth it when there were just a few leaves on the ground, but after moving a large pile of leaves effortlessly the other day, I have rethought it, and realize that this blower is far superior to the cheaper models. I have had no problems with startup and cannot speak about reliability since it's so new. But so far, I am really impressed with the power that this blower possesses!!! And I can't wait for more leaves to fall. PS, I happily blew all of the leaves in front of 5 of my neighbors' houses into a pile which then got blown into the woods. October 9, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding If you have leaves, BUY this product. What used to be a 6 hour session, with kids whining and fighting about who uses what rake, blah blah blah. I did the whole yard in just under one hour. Started right out of the box, shipped much earlier than I was told. I wish I had done this 10 years ago, by far the best yard tool/machine I have ever purchased. Last thing- make sure you order the correct model, all the CARB models are for California, I had to figure that out on my own. December 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by very happy I live on 13 acres and it's heavily wooded... Lots of leaves to clean up. This being my first fall season at this house, I went to home depot and purchased the PB500 model blower.. it was good, but just didn't have the "Uuumph" that I was really looking for to move the piles of leaves.. So I returned it after a couple days.. ended up deciding to give the 770 model a try.. so I ordered it online.. There's really no comparison between the two.. The 770 is so much more powerful. leaves, sticks, branches, rocks the size of softballs... it moves them all.. like others have said, even at an idle it will move stuff up to 15' feet away... no joke, it will.. I was planning to purchase an Ariens snow blower here before the snow starts blowing, but heck, I might just use this leaf blower instead.. it's got the power.. a note about my "con" listed.. it's not really heavy.. only 20 pounds or so.. but if you have to use it for 3-4 hours, you'll start to feel it in your back... I guess it's a tradeoff... power versus weight.. I'll take the power November 5, 2013
