Is it possible to buy the Echo CS-680 chain saw with a 27 inch bar from Home Depot ?

Asked by: Sawman
The CS-680 comes standard with the 24" bar and chain. Additional bar/chain sizes are available as a separate purchase. I have listed the part numbers for the 27" bar and chain below; 27D0PS3893 - 27" Bar. #72LPX93CQ - 27" Chain.

24 in. 66.8 cc Gas Chainsaw is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 52.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Echo Smokes Stihl and Husqvarna I bought this saw to replace a Husky that I had. I also have a Stihl. I chose this saw after reading arborist blogs. I decided that I would get great feedback, good or bad on from the people who use saws every day and depend on them for their living. The reviews were split just about even between the Stihls and Husqvarnas, mostly bad. Many of the arborists had switched completely to Echos and said that after using them, for dependability, performance and price would never go back to the others. That was good enough for me and after cutting up a tree that a friend of mine had and couldn't complete with his Stihl, both he and I were impressed. This was money well spent and no regrets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CS 680 Got this about a month ago . Replaced my husky 268. Soon as I made the first cut I knew I made a wise choice. Did two tree removals with it and blew away my buddies Stihl. LOL Look on his face was priceless. Great power and Value. Echo saws last forever. My first Echo product was back in 1983. I can tell you they hold up to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid, reliable saw We bought the 680 a month ago, because we needed something to buck the larger logs we have on the property. It starts right up, with no problems whatsoever. We're mainly using it on soft pine, but also some oak, and it cuts very well. After a few hours of use, it needed a chain tightening, but that was straightforward. All in all, a great tool. We have other Echo products (chipper, splitter, small chainsaw), and we have a lot of confidence in them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Liked this saw so well I bought a second one. This is the second Echo CS-680 saw I have bought. It would be hard to beat this saw with any other in its price range. It has good power and some very good features.I had to take advantage of the 5 year warranty with the first saw when the automatic oiler quit and was replaced at no cost to me at my local dealer.I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one, think that says it all.Thanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use big saw. Just bought this saw 2 days ago and put it to work the next day. Have 2 local tree companies that drop off wood to my house and needed a big saw to cut up the big logs they were dropping of. This thing has no trouble going through them with the 27" bar. We will see how long it holds up. My cs400 has made it 6 years with out any problems and still going strong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerhouse I used a friends new 680 yesterday and I was thoroughly impressed. I have a CS500 and the 680 with the 27" bar cut everything from the limbs to, the almost bigger than the bar trunk, with ease. Well balanced and plenty of power. I really liked the one pull start too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Robust Saw I used to cut commercially in the 1970s and 1980s. At that time, I ran professional grade Homelite saws (Super XL-925s and Super Wiz 66s). I cut pulp wood and hardwood. There was a period when I used Commercial grade Poulans also. Some of my saws had bow bars attached to make bucking easier. I had always heard about Echo saws. My uncle had owned one. When I moved back to central PA, I bought a top handle Echo. It turned-out to be a great saw. I later bought an Echo 6700. It is a beast. It is not a fast cutting saw, but is a very strong pulling saw much like the old Homelites. I also own big Stihl saws and Husqvarna saws. They are very good saws in their own right and I have no complaints. When I need a saw that I know I can lean my weight into it and it will just keep sawing, I grab the Echo. The fact that it has a manual oiler is extremely important to me. I grew up with manual oiler chainsaws and it seems foreign to not have one on a saw. Echo just plain does it the correct way. Extremely well built and extremely durable. I have talked several arborists into going with Echo and they have not looked back.
