Is it possible to buy the Echo CS-680 chain saw with a 27 inch bar from Home Depot ?

Asked by: Sawman
The CS-680 comes standard with the 24" bar and chain. Additional bar/chain sizes are available as a separate purchase. I have listed the part numbers for the 27" bar and chain below; 27D0PS3893 - 27" Bar. #72LPX93CQ - 27" Chain.

Customer Reviews

24 in. 66.8 cc Gas Chainsaw is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 55.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from CS 680 Got this about a month ago . Replaced my husky 268. Soon as I made the first cut I knew I made a wise choice. Did two tree removals with it and blew away my buddies Stihl. LOL Look on his face was priceless. Great power and Value. Echo saws last forever. My first Echo product was back in 1983. I can tell you they hold up to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Echo Smokes Stihl and Husqvarna I bought this saw to replace a Husky that I had. I also have a Stihl. I chose this saw after reading arborist blogs. I decided that I would get great feedback, good or bad on from the people who use saws every day and depend on them for their living. The reviews were split just about even between the Stihls and Husqvarnas, mostly bad. Many of the arborists had switched completely to Echos and said that after using them, for dependability, performance and price would never go back to the others. That was good enough for me and after cutting up a tree that a friend of mine had and couldn't complete with his Stihl, both he and I were impressed. This was money well spent and no regrets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough and reliable I have owned my cs680 for a year now. Use it daily on my 97 acres of texas brush that I am clearing into useable pasture and farm land. I have cut over a hundred cords of mesquite and oak with it so far. Along with that a couple thousand cedar posts from all the cedar I have cleaned out to use in building all my fences. I have cut dead oaks that were 3 plus feet in diameter. The brush I have to deal with is a narly mixture of grapevines, greenbriars, blackberry, ivys, creeper inter twined with trees of all sizes so thick together you would thank you were in a jungle in South America. I simply put my saw through torture every day its used and can guarantee them to be tough . I have owned several chainsaws including Sthils. But I simply would never buy another brand again besides Echo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DO IT ALL SAW CS680 cuts like butter with plenty of power for the 27 inch bar. Also bought the 20 inch bar for everyday chores. Would recommend highly for anyone who needs a dependable easy starting saw for homeowner or professional use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Regrets I did not purchase my saw from Home Depot, I purchased from a local dealer, however this saw has blown all my expectations out of the water. I have owned 3 Stihls in the past and they don't even come close. I have made four test cuts in 20" solid red oak and the saw didn't even skip a beat. Plus it comes stock with a dual port muffler. It pulls a 24" chain without hesitation. The bar and chain are Oregon power match painted with Echo's logo, and the chain is a full chisel. This saw is a true sleeper.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far good investment I like to break a chainsaw in easy. My first use with this CS-680 was on two standing dead Red Oak trees about a foot across at the base of the trunk. Using "Midgrade gas" with a echo oil mix this saw made light work of it's first job. Both dead trees where down and cut too 18" logs ready for my log splitter in no time. The next two hardwoods I will be cutting will tell me more about what the saw can do. I own a CS-450 It impressed me enough to buy this CS-680. The 680 is a little harder to get started. Once it's running it has the power needed for my type of work. I heat my home with wood. Both of these saws will make this a much easier job to do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from really like this saw this saw cuts great for it's weight. I live up in the mountains and depend on fire wood for heat in the winter. the Echo cuts down 18" to 28" trees all day long and rounds them up in no time. Could have a smidge more power, but once the timing adjusts to your cut it powers right through a 24" tree like a champ. pretty good purchase for the buck.
