The cultivator is easy to attach and use. The price seems high though. I feel attachments shouldn't be more expensive than the motorized power unit.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Someguy Gets the Job Done
Requires a little effort to work the soil, but gets the job done. If this product came with a device to remove roots without having to stop the trimmer, it would be perfect. Trimmer didn't have enough power to shred the fibrous roots, so took twice as long as I anticipated.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kate1 This product is easy to use
I have had the Echo PAS-225 for some time now and have had no problems with the product. I have purchased 4 different attachment heads; 2 different weed eater's, edger and now the tiller and am so pleased to tell you that they all work so well that anyone can handle any yard work that is needed. My favorite thing is that I only have to have the PAS-225 to interchange all three attachments, so it takes up less space in my garage. I plan on having the best garden in town with the new tiller attachment. My sincere thanks to however invented this great product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mike Great Product, Easy to Use
The tiller was easy to use. I was pretty skeptical on buying an attachment versus a purpose built rototiller, but it seems to work very well. It was easy to use and did the job well.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Texas gardener Does a great job
We bought this hoping to till clay soil. We weren't terribly hopeful but this attachment is excellent. We were able to till compacted clay soil. Got rid of some of the soil and added shale snd compost and tilled it in. We could have never done this job manually. Highly recommend this tool. I have to say I am not strong enough to use it but my husband is fine with it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by darrelstickler Surprisingly effective... a little messy
Was unsure what to expect. I had a 4 hp Troy-bilt Junior for years and wish I hadn't sold it. I was really surprised how much work the Echo unit put into the ground. It's been 4-5 years since the front yard was tilled. This unit chewed it up really well. It's a bit messy, with a lot of material going off to the sides, but you always have to rake afterward anyhow. For me, it worked best pulling backwards. It beats the walk behind hands down for control (the backsplash provides a nice guide to where the tines are), reach (it's a pretty long setup and you can reach under and between bushes) and coverage (you can get into almost any space with the tiller head).

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MrDoityourself Great little inbetween the plants tiller in short weeds
Works really well in dirt with short or little weeds. Taller weeds wrap up on it bad. Nice to get in between plants. Overall it works well!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by marcsco2 Performs as Expected - Keep up the good work
I bought this product about a month ago and have used it for odd landscaping tilling projects around the house (small flowerbeds) as well as some deeper tilling for a small portion of our garden. I am very happy with my purchase - this attachment works very well for small jobs. I have an older PAS 265 head unit (approx. 6 years) that still works great and works great with this attachment. Very pleased to see that Echo is designing to allow "backwards compatibility" of new attachments with older head units. I grew up working on a golf course when I was younger and we used only Echo, Toro, Stihl etc. for maintenance tools. I have come to appreciate Echo for their good design characteristics, ease of use, quick change features and durability - they were the best in their field back then and it appears their approach to product design remains the same today. I chose the PAS 265 head unit and "tap-and-go" trimmer attachment 6 years ago and have not been disappointed. I went back to Echo for this new attachment with the same expectations I had from when I was doing maintenance work as well as from 6 years ago and am happy to say that it performs great.
