Customer Questions & Answers

Will this work with the PAS225 power head?

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, I have used it on mine. Note that mine is stuck on the power head after using it so there may be issues around putting too much torque on the connecting points when using it in more aggressive applications.

The response from ECHO says that the cultivator will work with the PAS225 and the HD associate response is it doesn't work. Which one is correct ?

Asked by: Anonymous
I own the PAS225 and used it with the cultivator. The cultivator attachment now stuck to the power unit though so I would watch out about using it in an application requiring a high level of torque, think lots of rocks and/or roots...

I have the PAS 21.5 smaller power and the product had plenty of power. the vibration is hard on the hands, so switch hands often when using ( I work in an office). I used it on 200SQFT garden and it was great. Not the tiller to be using on raw ground if attempting to make a garden for the first time, but worked great on an existing garden.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Little but Potent Was a little worried about the effectiveness of this tiller attachment but it's size is well matched to the power head. Does a great job in loose soil and is perfect for raised beds and paths between rows. Sometimes you may want to walk backwards for more effective tilling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Small Tiller I needed something to make it easier to prepare annual flower beds and dig holes for new foundation plantings in our hard clay soil. The Echo tiller attachment more than delivered. I was able to dig 7 holds 4' deep and 1.5' wide in about 20 minutes. And this included using the tiller attachment to mix-in soil amendments! I purchased it during my local dealer's open house / demo day and saved 20% which made it even better. I was skeptical that this small attachment would work...but I'm incredibly impressed. Thanks for making a quality product Echo! Once again...I'm a satisfied customer!

I put it on and started cutting out San Augustine for a garden. I ripped through it very well. It cut several roots and even a cable line without hesitation. It seems to work fine. I will continue to put it to the test.
