Does this blade fit a GT-225

Asked by: Andy
All GT or curved shaft trimmers are NOT designed to use a metal cutting blade. If a metal blade is installed on this unit serious injury may occur to the operator. Do not use a metal blade with these trimmers.

do i need the upper/lower adapter plate for the srm 210?
Asked by: clint
In order to install any metal blade onto an ECHO straight shaft trimmer, the Blade Conversion Kit, Part #99944200418, would need to be purchased. This kit will include all of the necessary hardware needed to install the metal blade.

8 in. 80-Tooth Brush Blade for Brush Cutter is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent addition to my Echo Straight Weed Trimmer I was very disappointed with the blade that came with the Echo Blade Kit, so buying this blade was an excellent upgrade, that provides me the cutting power I was needing. I would highly recommend this blade to anyone seeking to have the cutting power for saplings and other large weed material.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible purchase This is a terrible brush blade. I doesn't cut at all, it does burn through small brush, and cuts grass okay. It will bog the machine down, and takes for ever to cut something. I will never buy this blade again. The 22 tooth brush blade for the DR Trimmer is the best.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from cutting weapon I had very small section of brush and small trees to clear and this did the trick. I don't know if my attachments type straight trimmer echo does not easily receive this blade or I did it wrong but I figured how to put it on and thread the screw counterclockwise. I'm pretty sure I had the wrong head or something but made it work and work it did! It felt like the dark ages weapon on a modern machine. lack of clear instructions on how to install is the lost star because I lost quite a bit of time figuring out how to make it work
