what is the weight of this tiller? How deep does it till?

Asked by: Anonymous
I am not sure about the weight. I am 61 years old and I carry it easily with one hand by it's handle. It specifies that it tills 6" deep, but I think it does more like 8 or 9.

What is the Fuel/Oil mixture of the ECHO 9 IN. Front Tine Forward Rotating Gas Tiller.....40:1?

Asked by: mredcobra
The TC-210 fuel/oil mixture is 50:1. A 50:1 ratio with 89 Octane fuel can be used in all ECHO 2-stroke equipment, provided the oil is ISO-L-EGD and JASO M345 FD certified. ISO-L-EGD and JASO M345 FD oil must be used with a mid-grade (89 octane) or premium gasoline in all 1997 and newer engines. A 50:1 Ratio = 1 US Gal. 89 Octane + 2.6 fl. oz. ECHO Power Blend Oil

Customer Reviews

9 in. Front-Tine Forward Rotating Gas Tiller is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent This is an excellent tiller. I don't know what the other reviewers were talking about, maybe they just don't know how to start an engine. This is my third ECHO product and I could not be more pleased with any one of them. I was a professional woods worker for 5 years and I feel that ECHO products are comparable to STIHL and Husqvarna. I have an ECHO chainsaw, trimmer and now the tiller. They all start without any issues whatsoever. Put the choke on, pull until you hear it rev, take the choke off and pull twice, starts every time. I have used the Mantis Tiller also and this is basically the same thing. I highly recommend purchasing this product and any ECHO product for that matter.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from breaks down frequently I have frequent problems with this tiller. It keeps breaking. I replaced filter a couple of times and spark plug as well, cleaned the unit etc. It still won't work or only work very short time. Mixed new gas with recommended oil to specs. still no go. Problem from first few months and after just a handful of uses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 7th Year I have the older version of this Tiller. It's lasted 7 years. Used it today, yes it took about 10 minutes to start, but it did the job and well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for gardening! This Tiller is perfect for me and my gardening needs! It's not too heavy, starts easily and really gets deep into the ground. I use this for my flower bed and my vegetable garden every year! After it has been sitting in my garage for months it starts with no problem at all!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hard to start piece of junk. Works good once it's warmed up but it is always a chore to get it going. Most times it would be less work to turn the ground over with a shovel. I will never buy another echo product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not worth the buy I have one that is 3 years old and used 2-3 times year. Always drained of gas in the fall and fresh gas. Overhauled the carb this spring as it was not running... Still not running. Starts and stalls or bogs out. Buy something bigger and save yourself the headache. 2 strokes are not worth the effort.
