Bought this as a replacement for one that was a year old. The original bag had a hole wore in the neck after about 6 uses. Of course, it was not covered under warranty. I purchased the new bag and the same thing happened. I felt I could not continue paying forty plus dollars every 6 or so uses so I patched the old one and am using it again. I think Echo has a poor design for the bag and should look at a redesign before selling any more of these.

Works great. Rugged engine. Starts easy; runs like a top.

I go through two bags a season. They keep tearing. Wish echo would make more durable bags.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Home You have to have this bag to pick up leave in tight areas - why three star ?
I have gone through one bag a year - think it was about $30
- they tear and are not well made so plan on one bag a year
- If you do not use bag alot you may get 2 years out of it.

The bag began to come apart in the seams after just one use. The retailer replaced and the same thing has begun to happen again. Thank God for fishing line, needles,
and heavy duty staples.

I used the echo 250 shred n vac for a private residence for less than one autumn when the bag developed a hole. Every time I sew a repair it just fails in another spot along the top (intake area) of the bag.
Finding a replacement bag - that is actually available - has not been easy.
I have also had to have carb work done after one season.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Carl I like the black color of the bag and the zipper location
I ordered the bag at the tail end of the leaf raking and vacuuming season. I did try it a couple of times. The black color gives you the appearance that the bag is clean on the outside, my previous bag was a cream color that showed all the dust and dirt. The zipper failed on my old bag after 11 years and I had just done a grommet repair to the fuel tank so I feel I can garnish another few seasons with my current blower-vac with these two current upgrades of this Fall. Again this is just a leaf bag and not some mechanical item prone to failure (with the exception of the zipper). I almost forgot, I simply love the new zipper location on the bottom of the bag instead of on the top spine of the bag like my old one. The bottom zipper location is convenient when emptying contents into a stardard barrel.
