The head was easy to attach and easy to remove to attach another head. We have been very happy with this product.

Incredible durability and speed. Purchased with a ECHO25.4 cc Gas PAS Power Source. Nothing but power.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by WLGef Just what I needed for clearing blackberries & brush
I was delighted to find out that there was a brush cutting blade attachment like this. This drove my decision to by the Echo PAS power head (reviewed that separately). It was a little tricky assembling the guard, but once I got oriented to the way it needed to go on, it was pretty simple to do. The PAS assembly (attachment to power source) is a piece of cake to attach/detached. In operation (not used one of these before) it took me a little time to get the technique down, but once I did it really chews through the brush. Doesn't cut harder wood stems like Scotch broom but my main reason for getting it was to cut down blackberries which it does with gusto! I found the strap that comes with it to not work very well for me, just seemed a bit too long and not helpful, so I don't typically use it. I have about 5 acres of brush to clear, so this tool is going to get used a lot. Glad I bought it!

Thought it would do better then .155 string on. Takes longer with this attachment. I do not recommend cutting high grass with this. Grass just falls on top of grass. It doesn't shoot it out like a regular weed trimmer. Blade needs to be bigger with a better design.

I bought some property last year and the back of it was all grown up on the bank of the bayou the borders the back property line. It was mostly full of thick green reeds, small saplings, briars and vines. The weedeater string was no match for this so I needed to find another option as the bank was too steep to run a bush hog on it. I tried spraying the reeds, but they are notoriously hard to kill. I decided it was worth risking a hundred bucks if this thing could make life easier, and I'm sure glad I did. This thing eats anything you put in front of it. I haven't used it enough to say how long the blades last, but if I have to go through 10 blades with this thing to get the job done I'll do it as it makes it that easy. The assembly instructions aren't very great, but with a little thinking you can figure it out. The only thing I'm disappointed with is the quality of the guard. It seems a little flimsy for the amount of abuse that the blade is capable of withstanding. If you find yourself with some serious brush to clear, don't hesitate to spend the hundred dollars and get this. You'll be glad you did. Also, I have the PAS-225 and it is more than capable of powering the cutter.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PCDave great for extra heavy / long grass and saplings - should have gotten it sooner
picked up an Echo PAS weed eater a while ago and have been fighting with the heavy weeds and then grabbing a chainsaw for stuff the weedeater couldn't handle. this goes through almost everything up to about an inch. this saves so much time.... should have gotten this brush cutting attachment a long time ago.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hobbs27 Works as advertised
Only downside is that assembly instructions were not included. However, you can figure out how to put it together by looking at the diagram/picture and thinking it through. Works even better than I thought it would clearing tall grass and brush up to 1" thick. I have a PAS 225 and even though that is the smaller power source, it still works great. Used it this past weekend to clear some palms and small brush with no issues. It was a very good purchase. Before and after photos attached.
