No, The ECHO PAS models are designed for use with the ECHO Pro Attachments only. Unfortunately, other manufacturer's attachments will not work on the ECHO PAS models.

Besides price, what is difference between Model # 99944200475 and this edger?

Apologies if this is a stupid question, but I worked a 12-hour shift today. When I look at the pictures for both models, I see no differences. They both look like straight shafts, too. So what am I failing to notice when I compare both edger attachments? Thanks!
Asked by: Tariq
Tariq, did you ever find out what the difference is? I think this is the most important question to have answered on here.

Have upgraded from 18v then 40v Ryobi garden tools over the last decade. Those products work fine on smaller lawns and jobs. This upgrade to 58v has made a huge difference in my productivity and battery longevity. The edger attachment works great and has reduced the time it takes me to edge with a string edger by 75 percent mainly because I'm not fusing with snapping strings any more. I think a string edger does a slightly nicer job, but the time savings and reduced pain more than compensate. Also, should I ever decide to buy the gas Echo PAS head, my investment in this attachment is preserved.

Worked straight out of the box. Switching between attachments takes less than 2-3 minutes, and the edger feels sturdy no matter which attachment I use. The edger works best if you prepare hard, compact soil by watering it first. It does a great job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Installs quickly - makes edging I bought this as an add-on to the Echo PAS-225 base - it attached very quickly - using this attachment made it very easy and quick to edge all along my concrete driveway and sidewalks - a lot quicker than turning the string trimmer on its side and edging that way - and the results looks much better also -

One has to solely rely on the tension knob to hold it I need place, which does appear to be adequate. It does require to double check to ensure it is properly lined up, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Unit cleans up even the most overgrown edges. I have a few yards i maintain, so it sees quite a bit of usage. Does just as good of a job as a large, expensive unit, but detatches and stores easily when i decide to switch my PAS powerhead from an edger to trimmer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ok product but requires sign for delevery Ordered 4 items from this place. This items require a signed signature or you have to pick up at the warehouse. Huge unconvince for me while other items come daily from other distributors and left on porch. Will order future items from Home Depot derictly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Edger I bought the edger attachment because I had a lot of overgrown grass over my curbs. It was easy to attach to my trimmer. It worked great. I used the slower setting because it wanted to jump around a bit on high. It had plenty of power. I'd recommend it.
