Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very satisfied it is nice to see Home Depot carry some replacement parts for my echo at the store level. These machines run great and are true workhorses! If you use your machine a lot you will need this kit eventually. Glad they don't force you to buy a new head which is twice the price and not always needed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not fit It does not fit last year speed see that I got... I don't understand how you don't have a replacement for something about how you don't have a replacement for something I bought

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I Hate It!!!! Bought this to replace the worn out original one. Worked great at first. Then I noticed the line, (.080) coming out was always uneven from each side. One side seemed to be putting out more line than the other side. Kept going, then I ran out of line. Put in about 15 feet and continued. Then I noticed there was only one line coming out. Took it apart and one line was stuck. Unstuck it and put it back together. When I hit the gas, it spun off! Put it back on and continued. Noticed one line coming out again. One line was now wrapped around the top of the shaft. How the heck did it get there??? Got it unwrapped and continued. Ran out of line again. Put in about 15 feet and finally finished. With the original cap, I replaced the line about every 4 times I cut my lawn. Had to replace the line twice just for this one cut. Wish I had taken some pics to show. Good enough for now, till I buy an original cap!! Some may say that I put it on wrong, wound up the line wrong. Nope! I have had this Echo Trimmer for several years now. I know how to use a hammer (I've read the instructions). Who knows, maybe I did do something wrong, but the bottom line is that I hate it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good product but not perfect this is my second echo trimer by far this one is the easiest to start and easiest to replace the line.but after about a hour of use the speed feed cap flew off the machine while cutting thicker grass.the cap is not held secure while cutting tall grass and now i have to go to the store and buy a new one for 15 dollars plus tax .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great purchase universal line feeder was easy to assemble and a great product
Date published: 2016-03-29
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much cheaper than replacing entire head assembly Many areas where I use my trimmer are rocky, which tends to wear out the bump knobs. Before seeing these replacement caps on the shelf, I thought changing out the entire head assembly was the only remedy. At 30 bucks a pop, that got expensive! The replacement bump caps cost half as much, which makes me and my wallet happy.
