While I have not measured wind speed of the EGO cordless blower, on high, with the Turbo button depressed, it's very powerful. I have used other blowers that claimed to be pushing 500+ cfm, and they were no where near as powerful as this EGO leaf blower.

Not sure what exactly your landscape consists of, but the 530CFM maximum is very adjustable. With the front mounted variable lever, it is easy to create a almost gentle flow that will barely move light material. Also adjusting the distance you hold the EGO blower from the materials is a easy secondary control. Hope this helps.

I have never had an issue, but if the battery is too warm to charge, the charger will defer and issue a solid red light to indicate same. EGO chargers can remain with the battery parked, and will cycle the battery roughly every 30 days to keep it conditioned if not used. Ok in the charger, but should be removed from the tool when not in use.

Purchased this Ego cordless blower because Consumer Reports recommended it. Previously I had a corded blower and it took me over 30 minutes to plug and unplug to blow off my driveway (circular), porch, decks, walkways and gazebo. With the Ego cordless blower, I can blow all the leaves, fir needles, and other debris off the cement and deck areas in about 10 minutes - or as fast as I can walk. It has more power than my Toro and I am not restricted with the cord. As a woman, I was worried about the blower weight. I have the 2.0 battery that has lasted over 40 minutes on one charge, and the weight it easy for me to manage. Just an excellent blower for fast clean ups around the house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Won me over from gas... Excellent replacement for my old Stihl BG55 gas unit. This has tons of power and adequate battery life. I do my 1/4 acre easily on the 2.5amp, and the battery remains green afterwards. There is a delay when you pull the trigger (very awkward when you are used to gas), but if you keep it on low continuously, and use the thumb boost like a trigger - its just like gas (and you will probably save juice since you aren't starting and stopping the motor all the time). Low is actually strong enough to clear fresh Burmuda and St Augustine clippings without boost. The charger has fan to keep the battery cool (30min charge), and it shuts down once full. It is balanced, but maybe a little heaver than the sthil with the battery - its much lighter without and easy to store. I hope it holds up, as I LOVE not dealing with the oil mix or the oil mix stink on your clothes. A got the free battery promo, but have yet to use the second one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EGO 56-Volt Cordless Electric Blower I've only used the EGO cordless blower a few times, but already I can tell it's a quality made, wonderful product. The turbo mode is perfect for those times when you need more power. The convenience of having a powerful cordless blower is second to none. Being able to walk the entire yard with the blower without worrying about cords or gasoline is so great, and it's not cumbersome or heavy to use. Charge time for the included battery was shorter than I expected as well. Overall a great product. Highly recommended. The picture attached is of my driveway after I cleared all the pine straw and pine cones!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Battery doesn't last I purchased this unit a month ago based on the consumer reports review, it was very easy to use and very practical for getting on my roof to blow out the gutters, but when I used the blower on high it only lasts 15 minutes and if you use the turbo button for really stubborn debris you only get a few minutes ,on top of that I depressed the turbo button only to have it stay stuck in the turbo position, couldn't free it up. I had it with this toy and brought it back. It is a nice concept but they haven't perfected it and is very expensive.

It has plenty of power to take care of yard and driveway clearing and the battery lasts for quite a while, even if the turbo is engaged as needed from time to time. Battery recharge is quick after you've finished your job. Well constructed and highly recommended if your job takes an hour or less to do. If it takes longer then just take a short break, recharge (1/2 hr or so) and you're good to go. It's a big plus for me that there's no worry with fuel, oil, or getting it started after winter storage. If you have a big job of blowing/clearing then the lighter weight and maneuverability of the wand on a backpack blower makes sense, otherwise this is dandy for those "smaller" jobs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great blower My electric toro blower just went out after several years of use (maybe twice a month for an hour). I had already researched and bought the Ego 56V mower which I have used for two summers and really love it so I decided to get the blower since I already had the battery. I have only used it once and so far am very pleased. 1.NO cord to deal with 2. quieter than the toro 3. variable speed a great feature, (sometimes just .want to move some little stuff and it does not blow it straight up to fall down in same place) 4. Turbo gives power to lift stuck leaves. I am sure I will get a string trimmer when my old sears trimmer fails.

It may not be the most powerful blower on the market, but it can hold its own. I even use it inside the house to blow off cobwebs in an open area of my foyer that is too high to reach -- you don't have to worry about fumes, loud noise, or spills. I also bought the weed wacker and between the batteries that came with them, I never run out of power because while I am using one, the other is quickly recharging. I would recommend a second battery even if you don't buy another ego yard tool. I think that would work better than one large battery for most people.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Handy but battery dies fast It's a powerful blower; however, I doubt its 530 CFM rating as my older corded blower rates in 400 CFM range but in real applications feels more powerful. This blower comes handy for quick jobs. On full power it works for around 15 minutes, let alone turbo mode (5-8 mins max). It's pretty useless for normal size backyards, unless you buy 2 extra batteries. The description mentions it works for 75 mins on slow mode. Good luck moving the leaves in slow mode, it's as powerful as an average table top hand vacuum. The pros, though 1) great for small jobs 2) easy and comfortable to use 3) I found variable speed is a really good addition that often comes handy 4) it's quieter than my corded blower.
