Yes. There is a lever on the front you can use to control the speed of the blower. And there is a button on top called turbo that will go full blast. It's a very powerful unit (I get done faster than my neighbor withwho uses a backpack blower) and very quiet.

I also have the mower and I also bought a string trimmer and got the 2.5Ahr battery with it and it works great with the blower and is much lighter than the larger battery. If you already have the charger you can just purchase the smaller battery separately BUT check the price of the blower without the battery/charger and the cost of the battery then compare that to the price of the blower with the battery/charger and go for the better value. The lighter battery is easy to use with the blower and if you buy a string or hedge trimmer it works great with them as well. Having an extra charger is not a problem if the price is much better for the complete unit Read Less

I bought the EGO 20-inch push mower with the 4.0 amp-hour battery (and charger) in one package, then added the 530 CFM blower later, without a battery, and use the same battery for both. I don't know if the more powerful battery fits this blower.

Answer:
All EGO Batteries work on all the EGO tools. It is just the amount of run time that you will get from each. Of course a Lawn mower uses more power so it will deplete a 2.0 battery faster than the Blower. That is why they use a 7.5 battery on the Self-propelled Mower.

Yes, I do and I can complete the whole job (mowing, trimming, and cleanup on my 1/4 acre lot) with just the one 7.5Ah battery with charge to spare. Also even though the 7.5Ah pack is arounf 6 pounds, it's still not that heavy or uncomfortable.

Yes the 7.5Ah battery fits the blower but it makes it very heavy to handle.
I have the mower as well and I have tried the 7.5Ah battery on the blower, so I speak from experience.
From what I understand, all the EGO batteries work on all the EGO tools.

Answer:
Yes you can. The 7.5 Ah battery is a little heavy if you are going to use it a lot in the blower. I purchased the 15" EGO string trimmer and it came with a 2.5Ah battery which works well in the blower. The extra weight of the 7.5 Ah is the only difference.

Answer:
If you mean how long will it power a given mower, blower or other tool, that depends on the job load. With the 20-inch mower and 'normal' grass height, I can cut my small-medium lawn three to four times before needing to recharge.
If you mean battery life as in deep-discharge cycles—that's a question for the manufacturer: http://egopowerplus.com/pages/contact-us

It'll depend on your use. What speed will you use, how often will you use turbo, how often will it be off while you walk to the next are to start blowing again.
The user manual lists these figures for the 2.5Ah pack. You can double these for the 5Ah
Approx. Run Time (with EGO BA1400 56V Battery 2.5Ah)
10 min.(Boost)
22 min. (High speed)
75 min. (Low speed)

Answer:
It's very difficult to say because of many variables. Square footage, length and thickness of your grass will dictate how long the battery will last. My experience is with the 21" self-propelled model and the 7.5 Ah battery. I have approximately 5000 sq. ft. of St Augustine grass which is thick and I mow the whole yard in 1 charge. I hope this helps.

The running time for this blower with the 5.0Ah battery would be approximately 45 minutes on high (turbo should be used sparingly and not as an actual setting).

110 mph 530 CFM Variable-Speed Turbo 56-Volt Lithium-ion Cordless Leaf Blower - Battery and Charger Not Included is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 453.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Battery doesn't last I purchased this unit a month ago based on the consumer reports review, it was very easy to use and very practical for getting on my roof to blow out the gutters, but when I used the blower on high it only lasts 15 minutes and if you use the turbo button for really stubborn debris you only get a few minutes ,on top of that I depressed the turbo button only to have it stay stuck in the turbo position, couldn't free it up. I had it with this toy and brought it back. It is a nice concept but they haven't perfected it and is very expensive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great so far.. Have just used this once to blow leaves and branch twigs off the roof and driveway. The real test will come when the leaves fall over the next month. But so far, so good. The unit has enough oomph to move the stuff away. Since I am using the 5 amp battery, the amount of time I can use it is a non-issue (again, a yard full of leaves will test it further) but the battery does make it rear-heavy. I use a strap across my shoulder and torso attached to the top connection point to take the load off my arm. I would like to have had a button keeping the blower on without having to hold the trigger in, but a velcro strap will fix that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great blower - recommend This blower is terrific. The regular settings are more than powerful for most yard clean up. If you do need to engage the turbo button, be ready for the push back/recoil, as it becomes like a small jet engine. I bought mine without a battery as I already had a 2.5AH battery and charger with my first EGO purchase, a weed eater. The battery will just about last for the grass edging and blowing after I cut the grass, which is about 40 minutes worth of output for the battery. However, in future I will charge between the edging and clean up so I don't run out of juice just at the end. I like that the battery comes with a 3 year warranty, but I'm hoping not to have to use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Thing is a Beast! I kept waiting for just the blower to be reduced, but with leaf season rapidly approaching, I ended up having to pay full price... I already own the lawn mower and trimmer and really don't need an extra battery/charger. That being said, I love this thing! It's got all the power of a gasoline blower without all of the noise, smells, and hassles. Thanks to EGO, I've been able to retire my gas cans for good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great This is my second EGo product after buying a hedge trimmer. I'm impressed with the battery life. It is more than adequate for most jobs, but if you use the turbo button, it will shorten running time - best use if only for when you need some extra blower effect. Non-turbo mode is great and has a variable speed lever so you can adjust power depending on your needs.
Date published: 2016-08-03
Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more leaves—or cord Blowing clean the deck, driveway and hardscaping is a lot easier when you're not dragging along a power cord. I swap my 4.0 amp-hour EGO battery between a lawn mower and this leaf blower, and get great performance and results both ways. The blower is a good way to clean out gutters too, so long as you can get on the roof above them.
Date published: 2016-08-02
Rated 5 out of 5 by from EGO Blower The EGO yard equipment tools are great tools. However, tEGO tools need to come with stronger batteries at a much lower cost! 1. EGO Hedger 2. Weed Trimmer 3. Leaf Blower All good and easy to use but battery life is a little short and to replace the 2.0 battery is exspensive and should be a 4.0 or larger battery.
