I just junked mine after 3 years use. When I purchased it 3 years ago, the no oil changes, gasoline, filters, spark plugs attracted me. My neighbor told me to get rid of this piece of junk. He had a Honda. I insisted otherwise until I experienced it for the 3 years.
It features 5 heights, though it will not cut grass at height of 2 or 1. Mowing on uneven terrain, it shuts off. Going up a hill or ditch it has little power so it shuts off. I take out the battery and tip it on its side, stand it up and then it starts again. When the deck gets filled with grass clippings after 30 minutes of mowing it shuts off. I have to take out the battery and tip it on its side, remove the grass clippings, stand it up. It then starts again.
Everything adheres to the plastic and it is difficult to clean. Can't leave it a day without cleaning it. If you do, you will not be able to remove the grass clippings and debris from the plastic deck.
Mowing over uneven terrain, the clip on each side of handle that extends the handle pops open and then lawn mower shuts off. This is a safety measure, but it pops open when mowing.
Battery lasted a year. Home Depot kindly exchanged it for another that only lasted a year.
About less than 40 minutes mowing on one charge (30 minutes to charge). Over use, it has less mowing time.
Bought another battery so that when one was charging, the other one I could use for mowing. The mower over heated and stopped working. The mower apparently needs the 30 minute rests while the battery is charging.
Not good for 1/2 to 3/4 of an acre. Maybe performs better on a 1/4 or less of an acre and even ground considering the difficulties I have had.
I bought a Super recycler Toro and couldn't be happier. I now agree with my neighbor that the product is a cheap product, including the battery. Not worth the price.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Johnbo Best mower around
Researched this one online for a while and decided what the hey, give it a try. Glad I did, this thing is so easy to use. Twice as fast as my club cadet ever was, no pulling cords to start. Does my yard in 1/2 a charge. Goes up small hills great, on full speed need to run to keep up with it. Had it about 3 months now, should have done this years ago, Very easy to use, got mine with free extra battery, great deal. Looking into the other lawn gear from them. Folds up and stores neatly. Go for it, you will love it. Oh, and it's about 1/2 as loud too (bonus for the neighbors).

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by FallGuy Decent for suburban lawns
I bought this on clearance, which is why I gave it a 5 for value, at full price it would be a 4 to 4.5.
I got the mower home and it needed little assembly, mostly just putting the catch bag on the mounting frame. I charged the battery and started mowing as soon as the charger said it was full. The first mowing the battery charge indicator turned red with about 10 minutes or so left to mow.
Subsequent mowings, both bagging and mulching, I finished mowing with the charge indicator still in the green. I mow about 6800 square feet of grass. I'm satisfied with the way the lawn looks after mowing, either bagging the grass or mulching it.
It's advertised as having the power of gas, I doubt this, but the mower still does a good job on medium sized suburban lawns. On larger lawns and heavy/thick grass you might want to get a second battery.
I like, for the most part, that the mower is light and easy to maneuver, I've turned it using one hand. i like that I don't have to keep gas around, or change the oil or spark plugs or air filter. So it's much more maintenance free in that regard.
The mower is very quite, about the loudness of a window fan on high
The headlights on it seem pointless, I seriously doubt I'll ever use them. Reading the owners manual, they recommend cleaning the underneath of the mower after each mowing. The center part of the bottom gets dry and crusty, even before I'm done mowing and the outer edge is wet and damp and nasty. I'd much rather have a cleaning tool to scrape the bottom than headlights. Especially since they don't recommend using water to clean the mower.
The sleek lines make it easier to mow under and close to obstructions than with my gas mower. Though tip or front cutting isn't as close as my gas mower due to the handle in the front.
The wheels are hard and hollow plastic, they sound cheap when mowing. So far I'm not impressed with them, but I'm withholding judgement until I see how they hold up. If they don't hold up well they look like standard type wheels and easily replaceable.

Included battery was dead and will not take a recharge, a new 5.0 replacement battery cost over $230. The mower worked great after that, but I'm angry that Home Depot sold me this product with a worthless battery because it would have been $100 CHEAPER to buy the 21" version with a working battery. I was ripped off.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Salomoto Nearly 3 years and still going strong
I actually enjoy mowing lawns because of this mower. Easy to use, easy to store. No gas, no winter storage with hard start in the spring, no air filter, no spark plug. Basically maintenance free. I bought the mower and the edger when they first came out nearly 3 years ago and could not be happier. I have since purchased the blower. I keep the batteries stored in the garage, and the other items in a tool shed outside, and have never had a problem with the mower never starting right up. I did misplace the key, and E-GO sent me one no charge. By the way, this mower has as much power as any gas mower I've ever used, and I've mowed (not professionally) grass for 40 years. I've loaned the mower to my son and son-in-law, and they pop it in their trunk to transport it to their homes. Can't do that with a gas mower.

I think this likely works fine for thin grass but it does not work on thick grass like St. Augustine.I'm going tryto return it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by H2OSun Highly recommend after 1 year of continuous use
So i waited until after 1 year to write this review. I have a 7500 square ft yard with slight hill. This mower easily cuts that in about 50 minutes. The light weight makes the slight hill inconsequential.
My decision to switch to electric was driven more by wanting to simplify all of my lawn care. Tired of all the maintenance and needing regular and mixed gas. It's really nice being able to use any of the batteries with any of the different pieces of Ego equipment.
Honestly, i would take the very negative reviews with a grain of salt... i don't agree.

I really want to like this mower, but I'm having a hard time with it.
I mowed on Friday, the only setting I could mow on was 5...this left great big piles of hay in my yard, so I thought I would mow again today (Monday) and run over it, on the next lower setting. The mower will not do it at a steady slow pace without giving me the overload amber light and stalling. I seriously did 10 passes in my front yard, which is a small city lot type yard and the battery is dead. Neighbor just cut his with a gas mower, not a hint of clumped lawn cuttings like I get. Really frustrated, feel like the dumbest guy on the block. Check out the picture.
