Answer:
Yes, you can use the 4 Amp Hour battery with the blower. I am using the lawn mower (which I own) with this blower. I actually recommend the 4 Amp Hour battery over the 2 Amp Hour battery for time blowing longevity. Buy the blower without battery and then buy the 4 Amp Hour battery and lawn mower rapid charger separately. Or just buy the lawn mower (which is fantastic by the way) and you are all set.

The battery that comes with it, I see about 8 - 15 min on a charge. The larger battery that comes with the mower (200$ sold seperate) might give you 20-25 min. I would suggest buying the one without the battery and using the high cap battery. The smaller battery does not give you much time at all if you plan to use the turbo setting.

I found the battery lasts about 45 minutes if you aren't using Turbo. I usually run the blower for about 20 minutes at a time; on Turbo and using the other speeds. There is a LED on the battery that will show condition of battery. Just push the light and it will show you if you need a charge.

Answer:
The 2.0 Ah battery run time on LOW is up to 60 minutes. On HIGH, the run time is approximately 18 minutes and with consistent TURBO button usage, the run time is approximately 10 minutes. Keep in mind that use of the TURBO button will deplete the battery faster.

I bought the push mower, which comes with the better 4 amp battery and the quick charger which charges in 30 minutes more or less! i'm not sure what the quick charger costs separately, i believe the 4 amp version of the battery is around a couple hundred bucks. There is a version of this blower that comes with the lesser 2 amp battery and standard charger that rings in at around 200 total. i would recommend going ahead with the 4 amp version and quick charger if you plan to purchase any of the other tools in the EGO lineup! If you buy the seperate, the fast charger is 100$, the "standard" charger is 70$. The fast charger cuts the time in half.
The small battery is 130$ and the large battery is 200$ a piece.
It is hard to justify the battery cost of this system when for 300$ you could get over 100 gallons of gas for a regular blower or trimmer.

Not sure exactly, mine came with the mower. Looks like you can get the 2 amp version for $129 or the 4 amp version for $199. Don't know if the 2 amp version will work in the mower but the 4 amp version definitely works for both the blower and the trimmer.

480 CFM 3-Speed Turbo 56-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Electric Blower - Battery and Charger Not Included is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 773.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time Saver Wow. I have a lake house with 45 steps from the house to the boathouse and dock. What usually takes me 30 minuets to sweep took me less than 10 minutes and the Turbo feature is awesome especially blowing away those pesky spider webs. I can;t wait till fall to tackle the leaves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quieter than my house vacuum cleaner! I love it. So much lighter weight than that gas powered one that had to be strapped on my back. I hated having to start, wear and use. I am nearly 70 years old and really like all the features of my new blower. I use it to clear Ponderosa Pine needles from my paved driveway and graveled areas around my place. Love the easy to use variable speeds....and on and off...works great in the gravel especially. Sooooooo much quieter to use than that gas one ( different brand) I had to use. Love the cordless, rechargeable battery feature. I bought myself a cordless rechargeable weed wacker a couple years ago to replace the gas powered one we used to have, too. I am on a roll! No gas to mess with. No starting ropes to pull. Quieter. What is not to like?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EGO Power Plus+ 480 CFM Blower This blower exceeds all expectations above and beyond any 5 star reviews. It is simply an outstanding blower with sufficent force for almost any clean-up task. We actually brought it out to show and assist a contractor that etches driveways and needs maximum power for concrete debris. There is not a blower in our neighborhood that shines as this one does. There is a short learning curve in using this blower that quickly resolves itself into complete satisfaction. EGO support staff is without exception, phenomenal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional Cordless Blower I use this blower to clear heavy leaves from my deck, porch, driveway, roof and patio. Of course the Turbo mode works best so that's the only mode I use for leaf blowing. I get about 20 minutes in continuous Turbo mode which is pretty good, but I like this blower so much that I decided to purchase the larger battery which provides about 40 minutes in Turbo. I'll never use a gas or corded blower again. My only gripe is that you have to keep pressing a thumb button for the turbo boost, so my thumb gets tired. I'd like to see a hold-down feature added to the Turbo button for continuous turbo use. I have already recommended this product to many people.

It says it's 3 speed but it's actually variable. The dial on the front will vary the speed from very low to quite high. The boost button on the top provides maximum speed. The problem I had with the product is that it's not quite fast enough at 480 as I do some heavy leaf blowing during the late winter early spring with several live oak trees. I am opting for the 575CFM machine for an extra $50. This machine should be very much more than adequate for nearly any home work. If I didn't have so many live oaks I would still have the machine. I love EGO products. I've had the mower for over two years along with the string trimmer and chain saw. All are exceptional machines. No pulling on a cord and hoping the the thing will start. Super quiet, great products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy, Great Tool When I decided to be my own ‘mow and blow guy,’ I looked around for tools. I wanted cordless battery implements, and I found the EGO line –mower, blower and trimmer, among others. They had a lot of positive reviews and having used the tools I understand why. The leaf blower is light and easy to use. The battery has good life and charges fast. Most importantly, it is quiet operating at low RPM’s, which is most of the time. The leaf blower’s controls are well designed for ease of use, and I really like the “turbo” thumb button that instantly puts the tool at full power. Another advantage is that I can use the same battery for the edger/trimmer, which saved having to buy another expensive battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great change from my corded blower I purchased this blower to replace my 20 year old Toro. The Toro still worked but I was getting tired of dealing with the cord and how loud the unit was. The Eco is very quite and the variable speed is great. I have an Easy Turf lawn and it does the job very well. The turbo feature is great for getting out acorns that have gone down in the turf. The slow speed is great for the garage, driveway, walks and street. I can blow both my front and back lawns two times on a single charge
Date published: 2016-10-17
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Powerful blower, Bad battery life I have had this blower for just over a year and am happy with it. The blower is powerful and I love the turbo boost blower for stubborn yard debris. I also love the convenience or its cordless design, but the battery life is disappointing. I have a yard that is more than 1/2 acre and it takes 3-4 battery charges to leaf blow my entire yard. Extra batteries are very expensive or I'd buy extras. For the cost of 2 spare batteries, I could have purchased a larger gas powered blower.
