Answer:
Yes, you can use the 4 Amp Hour battery with the blower. I am using the lawn mower (which I own) with this blower. I actually recommend the 4 Amp Hour battery over the 2 Amp Hour battery for time blowing longevity. Buy the blower without battery and then buy the 4 Amp Hour battery and lawn mower rapid charger separately. Or just buy the lawn mower (which is fantastic by the way) and you are all set.

The battery that comes with it, I see about 8 - 15 min on a charge. The larger battery that comes with the mower (200$ sold seperate) might give you 20-25 min. I would suggest buying the one without the battery and using the high cap battery. The smaller battery does not give you much time at all if you plan to use the turbo setting.

I found the battery lasts about 45 minutes if you aren't using Turbo. I usually run the blower for about 20 minutes at a time; on Turbo and using the other speeds. There is a LED on the battery that will show condition of battery. Just push the light and it will show you if you need a charge.

Answer:
The 2.0 Ah battery run time on LOW is up to 60 minutes. On HIGH, the run time is approximately 18 minutes and with consistent TURBO button usage, the run time is approximately 10 minutes. Keep in mind that use of the TURBO button will deplete the battery faster.

I bought the push mower, which comes with the better 4 amp battery and the quick charger which charges in 30 minutes more or less! i'm not sure what the quick charger costs separately, i believe the 4 amp version of the battery is around a couple hundred bucks. There is a version of this blower that comes with the lesser 2 amp battery and standard charger that rings in at around 200 total. i would recommend going ahead with the 4 amp version and quick charger if you plan to purchase any of the other tools in the EGO lineup! If you buy the seperate, the fast charger is 100$, the "standard" charger is 70$. The fast charger cuts the time in half.
The small battery is 130$ and the large battery is 200$ a piece.
It is hard to justify the battery cost of this system when for 300$ you could get over 100 gallons of gas for a regular blower or trimmer.

Not sure exactly, mine came with the mower. Looks like you can get the 2 amp version for $129 or the 4 amp version for $199. Don't know if the 2 amp version will work in the mower but the 4 amp version definitely works for both the blower and the trimmer.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 758 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handy, Great Tool When I decided to be my own ‘mow and blow guy,’ I looked around for tools. I wanted cordless battery implements, and I found the EGO line –mower, blower and trimmer, among others. They had a lot of positive reviews and having used the tools I understand why. The leaf blower is light and easy to use. The battery has good life and charges fast. Most importantly, it is quiet operating at low RPM’s, which is most of the time. The leaf blower’s controls are well designed for ease of use, and I really like the “turbo” thumb button that instantly puts the tool at full power. Another advantage is that I can use the same battery for the edger/trimmer, which saved having to buy another expensive battery. February 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Alternative Been using my Ego blower about a month now. Really like it to the alternative gas or corded electric blowers of which I've had both. The dial on front to select the fan speed is great and the turbo button on top to kick it up a notch is nice also. I use it on the lower setting to sweep my garage as opposed to using the broom and does a much better job. Then turn it up on high to blow grass clippings off the drive and sidewalks. Battery slides on and off the back very easily and I have since bought two other Ego yard products which I use the same battery to power all three devices. Overall really like the design and products. Highly recommended. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by amazing and interchangable batteries with all ego products I know if somethings good if my wife gives the approval...not only did she approve but she looks for reasons to use the ego blower before i even get a chance to. Lightweight, incredibly powerful for being powered only by a quick charging li-ion battery! I recommmend all ego products to anyone looking for great quality without ever needing gas for their equipment. June 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Works as good as my old electric blower. I don't miss the extension cord getting caught on objects either. Like the option of having adjustable blowing power. I'm very pleased with this product. May 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful! Love it! Even used it, carefully, on the ladder to blow out the gutters! Gets the blowing done fast! July 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Powerful Blower I purchased just the blower by itself because I also have the EGO line trimmer (also 5 Star product) and the batteries match up. I have a standard size yard and and I am able to use both the blower and line trimmer for my front and back yards on a single charge. This blower is very powerful considering it is cordless. Very comparable to standard homeowner gas blowers. Light weight and easy to handle. May 17, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Short battery life We bought this blower after returning a previously purchased one that didn't have enough power. My husband was originally quite happy with this purchase but after about 2 weeks he noticed the battery wasn't holding a charge like it had been. Now, after about a month, we are lucky if it works for about 10 minutes before dying. I get the whole turbo thing, but that was the main reason we bought it in the first place. We wanted a blower with power! Very disappointing! Would not recommend! April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by As advertised- AWESOME! I was sick of my gas leaf blower leaving me smelling like exhaust so I searched for an electric blower that would take care of my yard. Found this item on HomeDepot.com and read all of the great reviews. I ended up receiving it as a gift last Christmas. I was finally was able to use it this spring and wow, it did NOT disappoint. I first tackled blowing all the leaves that piled up along my house over the winter, no problem on turbo. Heavy wet leaves any leaf blower will struggle with, this is no different but believe me it has surprising power. Then I used it to clean out the garage; again it was nice that it's electric as the gas smell didn't smell up my house. Lastly I of course used it on my grass clippings after I mowed. I have 2 acres and I use it on my long driveway, back patio, and sidewalks. Plenty of power and battery life to last. Another positive is it's quick to charge and LED indicators let you know when it's still charging and when charge is complete. I've never tested the duration of the battery on regular and turbo but I suppose if you're doing a very large job it may be an issue. Personally it's worth it to me, use it for the ~1 hour it lasts and while it's charging for 10-15 minutes rake up the leaves you've already accumulated. In summary, buy it, you'll love it. Think I'll get the string trimmer next. May 23, 2016
