Can the 56v - 30 minute charger be used with an inverter that can be plugged into the 12V outlet of a vehicle?

Asked by: Brownie17
It is possible to use this charger with a power inverter but we do not make one with the EGO brand. Our suggestion is the Bestek Power Inverter, model number MRI10011-1.

56-Volt Lithium-ion Rapid Charger is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 145.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Working very well I was skeptical of its ability to handle my lawn. My lawn is not flat and has many plantings, beds, garden and walkways. Both front and back yards are slopped. I was accustomed to using a 6.5 hp Craftsman self propelled gasoline mower for 20+ years. when the replacement rear wheel needed to be replaced again, the right front stopped pulling after 45 min of operation, and after starting it was beginning to burn oil, I decided a new one was needed. I have been satisfied by Eco's ability cut my lawn on one charge. That is the primary need fulfilled. No gasoline, or oil, or loud noises or easily stored and pushed are a side benefit. I like it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mower and battery I purchased this mower after having a B and D cordless electric for 12 years. It was time for a new battery and I didn't want to drag the mower down to the repair shop just to replace the battery. My next door neighbor had purchased the Ergo Power + and I used it twice prior to my purchasing it. It mows great, quieter than my B and D and the battery is portable and recharges very quickly. In fact, when finished mowing my1/3 acre yard, I put the battery in the charger without recharging. When I'm ready to mow again, I recharge the battery while I edge and trim. By the time that is finished (20 minutes), the battery is fully charged and ready to go. Overall, I'm very pleased.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from the battery We have been getting a lot of rain and my grass is thicker than usual. It's not high. I bought the mower last summer so only a year old The section of yard that is the worst is about fifty by sixty feet and it takes me over two hours to mow because the battery keeps dying. No matter what time of day it is the grass never us dry enough to cut so it builds upinsideI the case and on the blade causing it the mower to stop. I get about ten minutes of charge time. Is this normal that the battery would be draining this fast. I have now other problems in any other parts of the yard but do not get the the running time I got last year. I cut it every week and the thick section twice a week. It's a pain

Rated 5 out of 5 by from what I like about my EGO I purchased mine on July 17th. I really like the minimum space when storing the EGO. It is a great feature folding easily. The 56V battery supplies plenty of power to mow thick grass. The self propelled feature has more than enough adjustible speed control. The size is a bit larger than my previous mower. Even so it still is maneuverable enough to complete mowing. The easily adjustable deck height with just the one lever is much appreciated. It cuts well. The only negative thing I found is the inability to lift long low lying grass for a good cut. Still I am happy with my new battery/electric mower. I researched many electric mowers and yours came out as the best in each of the several reviews/comparisons

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 21st Century High Tech Owned a piece of junk electric mower about a decade ago. Very, very hesitant to try this technology again. Got on line and could not find one negative review. Gave it a shot and glad I did. This technology is incredible. EGO mower, battery, and charger are, for mowing grass, state of the art. Efficient, fast, quiet, and very easy to break down and store. Battery and charger, wow! The cost of usage is literally a few pennies. Only knock on this mower would be the side discharge. Not as efficient as I'm used to with my old Troy Bilt gas mower but not anywhere near close to a deal breaker. Humongous yard, stick with gas. Somewhat large to average to small yard, go buy this phenomenal piece of equipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great battery powered mower I am very happy with my EGo self-propelled mower. My lawn is about 1/2 an acre with a hill. I use the mulching feature, which does an excellent job. The battery charges fully within a half hour and when I am through mowing, there is about 25% battery left. The mechanism to raise and lower the mowing height is very easy to adjust. It is very useful that the self-propelling speed can be easily adjusted for when you are going through taller or thicker grass. So nice how quiet it is and no gas smell! Would definitely recommend this mower to anyone

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredibly Impressed Disclaimer: I've only mowed the yard once. However, I'm incredibly impressed. For my yard, this is far easier and more convenient than a gas mower. It works beautifully, is lightweight, and I don't have to deal with gas and oil anymore. If you have a really dense yard and need optimal mulching, then a gas mower is still probably a better option. But, for me and for the vast majority of homeowners, this thing is a fantastic option. Added bonus, you can build out a whole ecosystem of yard maintenance tools that are powerful and incredibly convenient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EGO Mower and Leaf Blower This is for all of you old school skeptics like me. It's the future, it's here and it works great! No more gas and pull start issues. I push a button, cut my grass and put it away. 1. What about power and battery life? My EGO mower has a 56 volt lithium-ion battery and it delivers more power than you need. I never had a problem cutting and it gives me at least 30 minutes of cutting time and does a great job. Having lived in Wisconsin for most of my life I would say a gas mower may deliver more power when cutting wet grass, but normal dry grass, even tall thick grass is no problem. The leaf blower is equally great. The EGO works as well or better than my old electric. No more chords and plenty of power to do the job. Battery life is typically about 25 minutes. Darin G.
