Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry. The EMCO 200 Series Storm Door uses a surface mount push button hardware that has a component called the night latch. The purpose of the night latch is to lock the door from the inside of the house. You may check our door displays available at the Home Depot store near your area. - Lea

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 95 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by When I opened the box I noticed the door was "warped". I assembled it thinking the hinge frame member would cure the. Problem. No such luck. The seams in the particle board core didn't give the door the stability it needed. The bottom core was not sealed to prevent moisture absorption and the vinyl sweep didn't help. Installed fairly easy as per instructions. Ok as weather barrier but not weather tight. Buy the 400 series instead. October 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not yet used Contractor had no problem installing the doors. They look fine - nothing fancy but serviceable. I'm not living there yet so no chance to really review the functionality. Time will tell how they hold up, but it appears they will. I wanted the bottom part to have no window or screen since I have a Rottie that believes everyone who walks by is potentially dangerous and he jumps up and barks. In my previous house, I had to constantly repair the window screen so I'm hoping this door will, at least, slow that behavior. October 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very easy to install, and the sliding window was a great idea! October 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really was "oops-proof" The package claimed "oops-proof" and it really was. My husband and I don't always work well together on projects like this but this one went really well. There were a couple of places where the instructions were just a little vague but we took it step by step and got it installed and it looks great. I wasn't sure what to expect for such an inexpensive door. We haven't had it long so we'll see how it holds up but it's looking great so far. May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This was a good buy for us. It serves as an interior door between the kitchen and basement stairs and garage. It's crisp and attractive and perfectly suits our needs. Good price and was in stock. October 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Door Good deal for the price. Easy to put up and love the fact that the screen folds up into the door September 13, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Door swelled over time The door was great for the first 2.5 years, but isn't durable long term. Was installed via contractor through HD. Over the last the few months, however, it has started to swell on the inside and out. It no longer closes properly unless you slam it. You can see the door bowing (pics attached) January 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by screen/storm door perfect fit..great that the screen is above deck level--dogs paws and kid's feet were constantly popping the screen out. Closes smoothly and securely. August 3, 2016
