All EMCO and Andersen Storm Doors are designed to open outwards or as an outswing door. Any modifications made on the storm door and/or its installation may void the door's warranty. - Hazel

The instructions for mounting the door closer are in the hardware box included with the door. They are not available here to view online. I need to know before purchasing.

Thank you for your inquiry. The closer of the door is installed 2 inches from the bottom of the window. If you would like to download a copy of the installation manual for this door, you may visit www.stormdoors.com. - Lea

32 in. x 80 in. 200 Series White Universal Crossbuck Aluminum Storm Door is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice storm door We bought this as a replacement for the one we have had for over 28 years. It is a solid, nice storm door with screen that is permanently in (no removing the screen every winter and replacing with glass). Took a little bit to do the install since it was our first time and a neighbor helped. Couple hours and it was done.

We've had this exact storm door on our kitchen door for the past 26 years and decided it was time for a replacement mainly because it was very "beat-up" looking and the screen was very difficult to re-install every spring. It was quite heavy and truly insulated against snow, strong cold winds, rain and daily use. Installed the new door just a few weeks ago and we are very disappointed. Although it looks nice, it's quite flimsy and really does not fit properly, even after numerous adjustments and installation of a weather strip. We will keep it for a year or two and then replace with another brand or heavier EMCO/Anderson different series. Probably better for a milder climate. * This could have been my fault to begin with..maybe I should have researched a bit further into the higher number series-maybe they are a sturdier door*

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Door! So great I replaced another door! I've had my back Emco door for about 3 yrs and not a single problem! The bottom half is solid and seems very well insulated. I just replaced my front storm door now with this Emco just like the back! Watch out for "Self Storing Doors" because if the glass slides into the bottom that means thes little or no insulation. I had a "Forever" Door that I took down. It didn't last close to forever.

Gets lots of snow and salt against it. Opened and closed about 200x/day at my clinic. Add some dog urine to the mix and you have to realize nothing lives forever. Will buy another in 3 years.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cross buck storm door Door ok but door hardware was very cheap with just a inside lock and no way to enter with a key outside! Other wise the door was ok but not great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for backyard storm door I bought this door for my Moms house, which was built in 1947. I had no problem installing it, caulking was just competed today. I would recommend this door is sturdy, well insulated and very stylish.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from OSB core, unsealed at bottom??? This door has an osb (oriented strand board)core that is completely open at the BOTTOM. Yes, at the bottom. The sweep covers the bottom, but rain running down the door will get behind the vinyl sweep, swell the OSB and ultimately the aluminum will fail. Ridiculously stupid. The specifications say this door is Aluminum and "Composite" Composite is the OSB. Of course I noticed this after it was half installed. Now I've got to crawl on my back and try to paint the OSB edge. Again, if you are going to have OSB inside an aluminum door, cover the BOTTOM OF THE OSB WITH SOME SORT OF ALUMINUM TRIM. If it fails, they'll replace it, with the same door, within one year. RIIIIIIGHT. Moronic design and cynically sold product. Run away.
