I really wanted the bronze colored door, instead i ended up with the white one. Make sure when checking the color, you are getting the right one. i did not wanna go through the hassle of going back to home depot so i stuck with the white door. After about 3-4 hours my door was finally installed. My pops and I tried our hands at carpentry and it went pretty well. I must say,the instructions really are confusing. If you have experience with installing storm doors, this will be a a breeze for you. Overall result: the door looks great! I hope it holds up for a long time.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hank Solid door but not square
Good construction but not square. The window in the down position would not stay in the track since the track was wider in the middle of the door. The installation was clear but took time to install - about 2 hrs

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Joe A great door for a good price
This door was much more than I expected. It has a solid core and is as heavy as a much more expensive door. Installation instructions were complete and easy to understand. The door had enough adjustment to allow installation on a less than perfect door frame. I had no issues while installing this door. It is now installed and it looks like a professional installed it. I highly recommend this door. One note: The door requires a brick mold for proper fit. There is a kit for an inside the frame install, but replacing the existing 1x4 door mold with the brick mold was much cheaper and it looks much better to boot.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by julie1035 DO NOT BUY THIS DOOR!
I bought three of these storm doors in 2008. Two them, which have a northern exposure, are now rotting. They look awful. I have read on several sites about the door itself being replaced under warranty due to rot (the white insides of the door bubbles up on the inside and outside near the bottom of the window - see photos - looks terrible) they were given replacement doors that also rotted. Also the sweep along the bottom of the north facing doors bowed outward after just a couple of years and debris, ice and snow accumulate in them. When I contacted Emco about a warranty for those, they told me those weren't covered under warranty. The doors were professionally installed and had to be custom fitted (cut off at the bottoms) because of the size of the existing doorway, so the installation cost is on me, again. (The third door is under a large porch so is not exposed to much weather.) Emco is Andersen and I am so very disappointed with my purchase. I have never heard or seen a storm door "rotting" before. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON AN EMCO DOOR.

My son did have some problems installing the door, but that may be more from the porch and door frame than the door itself. It look really good and is much more stable than the one it replaced.

The door is very light in weight, easy to install and high quality. What a big difference to the old door I had.
