That seems to be the biggest issue with doors by EMCO, mine started rotting after 2 years. Why can't you fix this problem, it has been going on for years.
We called & emailed company but never got a response.

Thank you for posting a question regarding the EMCO 300 Series Triple-Track Storm Door. During certain weather conditions, water may drain out between the windows depending on the exposure. Our storm doors will not be a complete barrier to water or air infiltration; hence, it reduce the exposure to the entry door. -Ben

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Okay Had to take first one back damaged due to cheap packaging. Second one needed touch up paint July 5, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Quality Control We purchased this door at our local Home Depot on 11-21-15 on the salesperson's recommendation. After installing it, we discovered that there aren't any notches in the right side tracks for positioning the glass panels. The left side has them, but not the right. We regret not reading the reviews before purchasing this product. December 4, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Looked great for 1 year The guys who came to install it did a wonderful job. The quality of the door is horrible. See the pictures. November 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Purchase This door is easy to install. All the hardware is included. The instructions are detailed and thorough. I would highly recommend purchasing this door. You will be pleased that you did. April 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Newer strom door product has better helps for the install I bought two doors from the same store and found them to have been manufactured at different times. The newer storm door product had better helps for the install. After making the changes with the installation tools they both fit tight and held out the cold effectively. I am very happy with the installations as they protects the same room. With these installed the temperature in the room has increased dramatically and provides a great eco install to help reduce heat loss. December 8, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DOOR KNOBS BRAKE AND EXPENSIVE TO REPLACE $40. DOOR IS GOOD AND I BOUGHT 2 AND EASY TO INSTALL. MY PROBLEM IS THE DOOR KNOBS KEEPS BREAKING AND NOT ABLE TO REPLACE WITHOUT BUYING COMPLETE NEW KNOBS. PRICE IS HIGH ABOUT $40.00 EACH AND I ONLY NEED INSIDE KNOB AND REST IS GOOD. I REPLACED 1 AND NEW ONE ONLY LASTED ANOTHER 2 YEARS AND NOW I NEED 2 MORE. November 16, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Anderson needs better quality control Soaked up water and corroded from the inside within 3 years. I called the manufacturer and it looks like they will be replacing the door, but will not cover the labor to reinstall a new one or the water damage to my door jamb. I have another storm door from another vendor that I had installed about 12 years ago and it has no signs of corrosion. August 24, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great storm door I recently purchased this door to replace an old one. The door looks wonderful, it has a solid handle and tight fit. However, I hired professionals to install the door and ended up paying them more than the door cost. September 10, 2015
