I bought this last year and used it about 5-7 times in both pool deck and my 2-car driveway using a Honda PW with 3200 psi. It worked well until last June, 2015 - the spay bars stopped spinning. I thought the pressure on my PW dropped. It turns out that water was leaking through the center spindle at the bottom. I took it apart using an Allen wrench and saw some worn nylon strips around the thread on the base of the spindle and thought it was some dirt that just got caught. It turned out that there was a nylon washer there before and now it's gone - therefore, the leak. So far in my search, I can't find parts available to purchase and replace it with. And if I'm going to replace it with any type of nylon washer from HD, I'm not sure of the thickness of it. It's useless now until I find out or find a way.

I purchased this item last week based on the positive reviews. Over the weekend I spent about 15 hours cleaning my 300' long driveway. Once I got the hang of it, this handy tool really worked great. To be honest, it didn't glide along the surface like I thought it would. It took some pushing and pulling until I got a technique worked out. There's no telling how much water and time this item saved me. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Actually, I never even got my feet wet while using the surface cleaner. Just amazing. But when I finished I needed to pressure wash a small concrete slab that my deck steps sit on. I had to just use the wand for this. It only took five minutes, but when I was done, my shoes were wet and muddy. I hate to think of the mess I would have made trying to use the wand for the whole driveway. Great product!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by speedygv Works well, even with old pressure washer
I bought this for my pressure washer addict wife. Our pressure washer is an old 2300 psi @ 2.1 gpm model. The surface cleaner does a good job. It is much easier and much cleaner (no overspray making mud when you get to the edge of the grass. So far she has used it for 2 continuous hours and haven't had a problem with it at all. Because the pressure washer is just 2300psi you have to take it kind of slow to avoid leaving lines, but even with that she is super happy because it is still faster than using the original wand. It does leave about 1 inch on the edge that it can't reach so you still have a little wand work.

If you own a power washer buy this product. Period! It is hands down the easiest way to clean wood and concrete surfaces. Easy to use, no streaks, works fast. I cleaned a 300 sqft deck, my driveway and front entry walkway in about 2 hours! Everything looks brand new. I could go on an on about how amazing this attachment is.

This product is far from heavy duty or commercial grade, but it sure does shave alot of time off a job. bang for buck its hard to beat. I used it with my craftsman 2700 psi washer and i had a issue with it leaving lines, even when moving it slow. i also had issues moving it as there was not enough pressure to help lift the cleaner and "float" across the concrete. Being said it worked best dragging it backwards, but get a longer wand so you dont kill your back bending over. I just upgraded to the dewalt 4200psi pressure washer at HD for $999 and it works wonders with this cleaner. I glides across the driveway leaving no streaks what so ever. May upgrade to a commercial grade cleaner in the future but for now this one works very well. use a 3000psi or more or you will be doing more work than you need

I have over 2000 square feet of patio in my backyard that was covered in mildew, and the prospect of cleaning that by hand made my back hurt just thinking about it. I picked this up last night and hooked it up to my 2200 PSI washer and it is fantastic! Solid construction, works like a dream and cleans with just one pass. I love it. Made cleaning my patio much faster and a lot less strain on my back!! If you have deck or patio/driveway to clean, just get it!
Only comment, and this is not critical just informative, after you run this you still need to hose all the lose dirt off the surface so it doesn't settle back in.

I have a large pool (cool) deck that I've been living with dark stains and sandy finish. I tried to use the hand method of pressure washing the deck but it left many witness marks and stripes.
With the surface cleaner it turned a very inconsistent, difficult job into an amazing resulting outcome. It's an easy to use tool and does a great job.. the only reason I dinged it a little on ease of use is because it "pulls" real easily but doesn't push so easily, but it probably would with a longer extension. Overall, it's a great tool and 3 of my neighbors already went to Home Depot to buy one of them after witnessing the results of mine.

Cleaner isn't much smaller than some that come with handles attached, but works fine attached to washers wand.
Only problem I've had with it has been that when pushing it away, I've had trouble that the water spray lifts cleaner so if brushes on leading edge contact the surface being cleaned, it's too easy to get the cleaner tipping up enough to wet operators feet.
This problem could be solved with either wheels or teflon skids attached to let cleaner slide/roll over surface without the brushes catching on crack or uneven spot.
Undecided yet but I might try modifying mine with wheels or skids. As-is, I still somewhat worry that I could end up bending my washers cleaning wand while using this cleaner especially when the brushes catch enough to cause the other side of cleaner to leave the ground and spray unintended surfaces.
