Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by speedygv Works well, even with old pressure washer
I bought this for my pressure washer addict wife. Our pressure washer is an old 2300 psi @ 2.1 gpm model. The surface cleaner does a good job. It is much easier and much cleaner (no overspray making mud when you get to the edge of the grass. So far she has used it for 2 continuous hours and haven't had a problem with it at all. Because the pressure washer is just 2300psi you have to take it kind of slow to avoid leaving lines, but even with that she is super happy because it is still faster than using the original wand. It does leave about 1 inch on the edge that it can't reach so you still have a little wand work.

I have over 2000 square feet of patio in my backyard that was covered in mildew, and the prospect of cleaning that by hand made my back hurt just thinking about it. I picked this up last night and hooked it up to my 2200 PSI washer and it is fantastic! Solid construction, works like a dream and cleans with just one pass. I love it. Made cleaning my patio much faster and a lot less strain on my back!! If you have deck or patio/driveway to clean, just get it!
Only comment, and this is not critical just informative, after you run this you still need to hose all the lose dirt off the surface so it doesn't settle back in.

I have a large pool (cool) deck that I've been living with dark stains and sandy finish. I tried to use the hand method of pressure washing the deck but it left many witness marks and stripes.
With the surface cleaner it turned a very inconsistent, difficult job into an amazing resulting outcome. It's an easy to use tool and does a great job.. the only reason I dinged it a little on ease of use is because it "pulls" real easily but doesn't push so easily, but it probably would with a longer extension. Overall, it's a great tool and 3 of my neighbors already went to Home Depot to buy one of them after witnessing the results of mine.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mudhog This product is not repairable
I have had this unit for a couple of years and like the people who rated it a 5 it work great for me, I was very happy with it. This year when I started using it water poured from the bottom of the spray bar. I took the spray bar off an saw 2 nylon split washers that keep the water from pouring out of the bottom as well as acts as sort of bearing that the bar spins on. After calling the parts dept I learned that there are no parts available to fix this problem. I rated this poor value since it is not repairable. I am going to go to a company that deals in pressure washing equipment and buy a 12" unit for $149.00 that has ball bears and is repairable. Such a shame because I really like the setup.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mark Just a few changes could change it from 4 to 5 star rating
Cleaner isn't much smaller than some that come with handles attached, but works fine attached to washers wand.
Only problem I've had with it has been that when pushing it away, I've had trouble that the water spray lifts cleaner so if brushes on leading edge contact the surface being cleaned, it's too easy to get the cleaner tipping up enough to wet operators feet.
This problem could be solved with either wheels or teflon skids attached to let cleaner slide/roll over surface without the brushes catching on crack or uneven spot.
Undecided yet but I might try modifying mine with wheels or skids. As-is, I still somewhat worry that I could end up bending my washers cleaning wand while using this cleaner especially when the brushes catch enough to cause the other side of cleaner to leave the ground and spray unintended surfaces.

I’ll start by saying “this thing is awesome” well worth the money!
I was cautious after reading some of the one star reviews here, I figured I’ll save the receipt and return it for a full refund if it was a piece of junk. I was really looking for something to make my job easier. I was amazed at how well it worked. What normally takes me 2 ½ hours with my top of the line sprayer to do my walkway and driveway, only took 55 minutes with this surface cleaner. I went back and forth with it, then side to side, doing about a 5 ft by 5 ft section at a time. My driveway was so dirty, I then hovered the unit about 6-8 inches to wash the dirty water away. Also, I didn’t get all soak and wet as usual, just my boots and socks understandably. I highly recommend this attachment, but save your receipt, like everything, you may get a lemon as with some of the one star reviews, the one I purchased works great, hopefully yours will too.
I just bought it and used it (4/2/14) and now I’m writing this review. The big question is… how long will it last? I’ll have to get back to you on that, it does seem like it’s made well enough to hang a while. One last thing… make sure you have a (long) wand with a ¼ inch connector coupler to attach to this unit. I had to buy one for another $20. Still worth it! My powerwasher is a ec2800 Honda (2800psi 2.6 GPM)

Wow---never thought my concrete could look so good. Very easy to use but would recommend adding an extension wand because my back hurts after only a half hour of washing.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Anthony Best Quality for the Price
I researched all sub $100 surface cleaners and came to the conclusion that this was the best one to buy. The plastic is appears more durable than other brands and it handles high pressure that a gas washer provides.
I have a 1500 PSI electric washer that I use (had to get special wand adapter to fit 1/4 disconnect) and it cleaned really well even at the lower PSI rating.
The only reason that I see the instructions suggesting a minimum 2200 PSI is because of the "lift" of the nozzles. At 1500 PSI, it has a hard time gliding due to not having enough lift on the cleaner. I decided to stay with this cleaner in case I upgrade to a higher PSI gas washer.
To help my gliding problem I added casters to the disc like a professional washer has. I was able to buy all the parts at home depot:
(2) 2 pack Everbilt Rubber 2" stem casters (SKU: 837440)
(1) 15 pack of Crown Bolt 5/16 in. Zinc Nylon Lock Nut (SKU: 141879)
(2) 2 pack Crown Bolt M5 x 25mm Zinc-Plated Steel Pan-Head Phillips Machine Screws (SKU: 199873)
(1) Crown Bolt 3/4 in. x 36 in. Plain Steel Flat Bar with 1/8 in. Thick (SKU: 478989)
I cut the flat bar and welded it at a right angle for the brackets and used the machine screws to replace 4 of the screws that hold on the brush skirt to the body (these are the same screws just longer so you can use the same lock nuts that came with the cleaner). Then I inserted the casters into the holes i drilled on the brackets and added 2 nylon lock nuts per caster so that I could fine tune the height adjustment.
Glides amazing now. If i get a gas washer all I have to do is unbolt the casters and I'm ready to go.
