Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works for neutralizing acid stain Used this to clean/neutralize Eagle Acid stain for an exterior concrete patio. I first used a 1:4 ammonia to neutralize the concrete and power washed and lightly scrubbed the concrete surface. This did not pass the white rag test. Using my power washer to apply the soap to the patio, I applied the product and lightly scrubbed the cleaner into the concrete surface and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. Power washed off the first coat. Applied cleaner a second time the same way. Took 2-3 cycles of power washing the whole patio to clean off the second coat and get water to run clear without suds from the cleaner. That being said, white rag test passed after the second cycle and several power washes. Eagle Armor seal went down great. Patio looks good. Worked as advertised. July 21, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Did just fine I think it will be good for the job your doing unless your trying to get old gloss off concrete I don't think anything I buy will take that stuff off I have tried a few things. July 4, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The cleaning agent worked well, the concrete once dried looked good and for the sealer. it worked well in removing the excess stain. It took 2 washings to get it to the point of sealing the concrete which enhanced the color. June 12, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worked pretty well for me! As a profession concrete acid stainer, I like this product. Using acid to clean, works great, but it ruins concrete for acid staining purposes, so this is a useful alternative for me. I have only used it twice, but it did a pretty good job. On tougher stains I need to supplement with a good pressure wash or steam cleaning. One reviewer mentioned chlorine, I have never tried that, so cannot comment on the comparison, but chlorine is quite poisonous, an I try to avoid that. November 21, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product works very well! I had some very ugly oil stains on my driveway from years of parking cars on them. I used the cleaner degreaser as the label stated and I had great results. The best part was that the 1 gallon jug made 5 gallons of cleaner so I only had to purchase 1 jug. The cleaner works as advertised and i would recommend it to anyone with oil stained or dirty concrete. November 19, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Eagle Cleaner, Degreaser & Neutralizer does the job We used this after putting etcher on our concrete patio prior to staining it. The product removed all residue of acid from the concrete and allowed for an easy staining process for our patio. When using the Eagle etcher, degreaser and stain to stain an outdoor patio, while following the directions, you should have no problemn completing the task right the 1st time. The finish came out like marble after 2 coats of Eagle sealent was applied. May 7, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Really difficult to remove I recently acid stained a covered cement deck and exposed cement sidewalk. I used this product on the smooth finish cement deck. Per instructions, I pressure washed the deck (actually 3 times), used the etch and clean; cleaned the etch and clean off the deck, acid stained the deck, then used this product to neutralize the acid stain. After 5 scrub down/washes this product still had not neutralized the acid stain. Only after another 5 washes was I able to remove all of the neutralizer so I could seal the deck. After my experience with this product, I prepared and stained my brushed cement walkway. Rather than using this product, I used Baking Soda and a pole brush to clean/neutralize the acid wash. Using this method, I was able to prep the walkway after 1 wash down followed by two brush downs with baking soda and two brush downs with clean water. For the $$$ and the headaches, I won't use this product again when we acid stain our driveway....besides 5 boxes of baking soda was only a few dollars. March 1, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't work as well as expected I mixed it 4 to 1 and used a brush on the old oil stains and worked it in, waited 5 minutes and nothing happened. I poured it straight out of container and used a brush and it lightened up the stains a bit after 5 minutes. I did the rest of the garage floor with the 4 to 1 mix. The results were minimal and not what I expected. I don't know if the oil stains were too old and set in to remove, but will try another product and update my results. March 11, 2014
