My yard has a concrete retaining wall that was unsightly and stained by mud. Also, when the afternoon and evening sun directly hit the wall, it was almost blinding. After using Eagle Amber Concrete Acid Stain, the wall blends in nicely with the house and rock surroundings. The product has a natural look and was easy to apply and clean up.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dustin covers well, easy to use
this was very easy to use on my pool deck. However, we did not like the color all that much. Well, I did, but the wife didnt so it had to be changed. It is easy to apply with a sprayer. I mixed it 1:1 with water to dilute it to keep the color lighter. If you want darker color and want it to go farther, skip the step where you wet the concrete first. It really sizzles if you do that. But it is not as even. This photo was shows product applied to wetted concrete.
Keep in mind that it looks terrible before you clean it. A lot of the color comes off when it is cleaned and neutralized, so it doesnt look near as wild.

Such an easy application process and looks wonderful, such great savings compared to laying a tile floor.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CottageCaretaker easy to follow directions
This product delivered all that it promised. The color after application is rich and vibrant. After I neutralized the acid, much of the color remained. The directions were easy to follow as were the steps outlined. A very good product in my opinion.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cyndi I loved this product!
This acid stain was very easy to use if you follow the directions and do a good job cleaning the concrete first. I had an 18 year old driveway that was in very poor condition and this did a great job bringing it back to life! I mixed the stain half and half with water to lighten and extend the product and it is almost exactly like the color chart sample. I followed up with 2 coats of the Eagle Supreme Seal and it really brought it to life!

I used the Amber stain on 7 year old concrete that had been badly stained. I thoroughly cleaned the concrete with the Eagle cleaner and applied 2 coats of the stain (cleaning in between.) The finish was darker than expected bur still looks amazing! Anyone attempting to stain their floor should remember that the final result will be based upon the amount t of prep work put in before staining. Also, I used the Eagle Supreme Seal and LOVE the finish...just not the smell.

I purchased 4 gallons after seeing good reviews on the HD site. The concrete was 3 years old and I just had it grinded to expose the stone in the concrete. When the stain was applied with a sprayer it did not fizz or color the concrete properly. I let it sit for 12 hours and when I washed it off I was VERY disappointed. I bought 3 gallons of Butterfield acid stain in the same color. When I applied it to the concrete it fizzed like it should. After 5 hours I pressure washed it off and the results were what I expected. I don’t know if I got a bad batch from Eagle or what, but I will never use their stain again. It was a waste of my time and money.

Purchased online. Prepared my floors by renting a floor maintainer with the coding removal tool and washed the floors. Applied a test region to the floor in a storage closet (luckily) as it turned almost neon orange. Horrible! Returned next day to homedepot and bought a mason stain from another store. Don't buy!
