Customer Questions & Answers

can I park the car in the garage the 30 days I'm letting the floor cure after cleanimg

Asked by: Bobbie
I'm not sure of your concern. Acid against your tires? If you have followed the directions on the bottle carefully, no concern. But of course the car tires will track in more dirt, and the floor will have to be at least pressure washed and then dried before coating with a sealer.

what can I use to get oil spill stains out of new concrete?
Asked by: les
First use cat litter to soak up as much of the residual as possible (a several week process). Then pressure wash (2000 psi or greater) with a commercial degreaser like Simple Green. And be patient. This is not an afternoon project. It can stretch over several months. Complete removal is not guaranteed; but the stain should be reduced to the point that only you notice it. After a few years, even you will forget about it. The cleaner/degreaser above is an acid-based product and could well damage your new concrete. For older concrete that is badly stained it works well.

Can it clean the old paint?

Tried what is available in store, not working
Asked by: Pei
Not sure what you mean by "clean the old paint." It is not a paint remover, although as an acid-based cleaner it is plenty powerful. It is primarily a degreaser, if a potent one. It is not a paint stripper.

Worked great - used it on my garage floor to pull up all of the grease/oil/dirt so that I could lay down an epoxy finish. Used a small brush to help agitate or activate the degreaser and then had to make a couple of extra passes over some of the really bad spots. In the end, I was very pleased with how it worked and the end result looks great

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked pretty well for me! As a profession concrete acid stainer, I like this product. Using acid to clean, works great, but it ruins concrete for acid staining purposes, so this is a useful alternative for me. I have only used it twice, but it did a pretty good job. On tougher stains I need to supplement with a good pressure wash or steam cleaning. One reviewer mentioned chlorine, I have never tried that, so cannot comment on the comparison, but chlorine is quite poisonous, an I try to avoid that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eagle cleaner degreaser and neutralizer I was very impressed with this product. I have old concrete with many stains and dirt. It really cleaned up the stains and really cleaned the concrete. I used this after I stained the concrete. Brushed it into the stained concrete. Hosed it off well and had no trouble with the cleaning process. It only took 1 good rinse to clean off any excess stain!! Would use it again!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful stuff The product proved easy to use and very effective. It left the surface of the old concrete cleanand just pitted enough to allow a good bond for the finish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product works very well! I had some very ugly oil stains on my driveway from years of parking cars on them. I used the cleaner degreaser as the label stated and I had great results. The best part was that the 1 gallon jug made 5 gallons of cleaner so I only had to purchase 1 jug. The cleaner works as advertised and i would recommend it to anyone with oil stained or dirty concrete.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works for neutralizing acid stain Used this to clean/neutralize Eagle Acid stain for an exterior concrete patio. I first used a 1:4 ammonia to neutralize the concrete and power washed and lightly scrubbed the concrete surface. This did not pass the white rag test. Using my power washer to apply the soap to the patio, I applied the product and lightly scrubbed the cleaner into the concrete surface and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. Power washed off the first coat. Applied cleaner a second time the same way. Took 2-3 cycles of power washing the whole patio to clean off the second coat and get water to run clear without suds from the cleaner. That being said, white rag test passed after the second cycle and several power washes. Eagle Armor seal went down great. Patio looks good. Worked as advertised.
