Eagle Acid Stains create marbled variations of color on cured concrete by chemical reaction with the minerals in the concrete. Every concrete floor will react with its own unique pattern. Once sealed with clear sealer, your floor will pop with an elegant look. Acid staining is a tedious process. Eagle concrete dyes should be considered if a simple process is important.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pictures are worth 1,000 words Pictures do the talking, A progression of the stain reacting with the concrete and pictures of the finished result! May 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Absolutely Wonderful The stain goes on very easy, just pour it directly into a pump-up sprayer and get after it. The product was orange inside the bottle, bright acid-yellow when it first hit the concrete, black the next day, and finally turned perfect cocoa brown after I degreased and rinsed the slab. I stained a 30' x 30' slab in under an hour with about 4.5 gallons of stain. I've never stained concrete before, but this was really easy. Also, I used a push broom to try to even out some of the color, but I probably did more harm than good in doing so. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Looks great and was easy to use. Would do it again May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best concrete stain This product works wonderfull. Ended up with a super result. Would recomend it for any concretesyain project over any waterbased product. March 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Professional looking results! Eagle Acid Stain (in Cocoa) worked great for application in my interior entryway. The stain was very easy to apply (I used an acid pump sprayer). Proper prep work and testing will ensure a good result (remove any adhesive, use degreaser/acid neutralizer if applicable). You will also need the acid neutralizer to stop the acid from reacting when finished. There are many opportunities for creativity when staining including masking the concrete and diluting the stain for different tones (as pictured). I finished with Eagle Armor Seal Urethane Water-based Sealer. It provides a semi-gloss finish for those who don't want a wet look. I am very satisfied with this product! May 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cocoa acid stain on block wall We wanted an inexpensive, rustic look for our new concrete block retaining walls that would help them blend in with the surrounding desert soil and rock. Since the air and blocks were very dry, we diluted it by mixing one quart of the Cocoa acid stain with 3 quarts of water and applying with an inexpensive plastic garden sprayer. The mottled effect and color were exactly what we wanted. It looks darker when wet and lighter when dry. In some places, after drying, we wanted it a little darker so gave those spots another light spraying. Application and cleanup were quick and easy. January 28, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Just turned black, epic fail. I am returning the unused 2 gallons. The instructions say to try on a small spot but it doesn't say what is normal behavior and what to look for. So I thought it was supposed to turn black and then it wash away leaving a nicely stained floor. That didn't happen. See attached photos. Now, let's do some math. 1 galling of stain $60, acid resistant sprayer $70, 1 gallon of cleaner $13. All together just to test whether this product will work with your concrete will cost you a minimum of $143 plus tax. When it fails you will be $$ poorer and very much irritated. Needless to say I am sorely disappointed and now I have to make a fairly long trip to home depot in another city to return the remainder. Not to mention the major cleaning to remove the failed product. Good luck with your project. September 26, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't work I followed all instructions and got a poor looking job, and got NO answer from Eagle after e-mailing and asking why. August 20, 2014
