Product Overview

Eagle Acid Stains create marbled variations of color on cured concrete by chemical reaction with the minerals in the concrete. Every concrete floor will react with its own unique pattern. Once sealed with clear sealer, your floor will pop with an elegant look. Acid Staining is a tedious process. Eagle concrete dyes should be considered if a simple process is important.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Glad I did it The acid stain it self was very easy to apply. I bought the sprayer, but was able to apply it (I don't recommend this way, but it worked great) with a painting edger. The edger was originally just to do the edges, but then I realized that I could just pour the stain on the concrete and spread it with the edger. It worked for me. I will probably stain the outside concrete slab next, but will make sure to have the correct sprayer to make it easier. The cleaning was a bit more difficult than I thought, but not too horrible. Just very time consuming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the effort If you follow the procedures as stated it will make you happy. It takes some work but in the end it is a good product. In my cas there were streaks of yellow but this is residue and will come off with the degreaser. Good product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Interior floor repair I used this to repair peeling concrete stains on an interior floor finished with urethane. The challenge was to match the random nature of 2 mixed colors. Had previously used a concrete paint which looked like paint with no color depth. This stain had color depth and looked like it was part of the concrete and not just paint on top. I only used one color, but will order a second color and see if I can layer it to more closely match the original. The degreaser and cleaner helps get uniform color. I used a brick chisel to scrape the surface making the concrete more receptive to taking the color. Haven't finished with the urethane yet, but would expect an even deeper color effect. Overall I was surprisingly pleased. Watch the vendor video.
