We machined the tempered slick finish off 1550 Sq ft. The raw concrete was probably a little smoother than a broomed finish. Five gallons & 1 cup did the first coat on 1550 Sq ft. The second coat took about 4 gallons. First coat dried to a satin look. Second coat needed to give it a glossier look. Have ventilation. Two people applying 2 coats with 140' of brush cut in, it took 3 hours of labor. Even though it's semi-transparent you can still see every detail in the concrete. Used a 1 1/4" and a 3/4" roller. 3/4" on this finish was just fine.

Be prepared to wear old clothes because it makes a mess! Sprays while using a roller and will get on your shoes and pants. I wore gloves also.
It took the five gallon bucket to completely seal the driveway, you can't skimp as rolling it on requires it to be even. It makes an old aggregate driveway look new again. The product is tinted transparent brown and makes the aggregate look "richer."
Loved the result but makes a mess for the homeowner doing their own deferred maintenance. Well worth the money and waiting to receive it from the manufacturer, direct to your home.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Daisy terrific product
This sealer is the very best. I've used it now twice in 3 years. It is easy to use, has great coverage and lasts up to two years. My neighbors, more than 20 families have also purchased this product because it just makes your driveway look outstanding.

I am a contractor, usually too busy to review all the products I use. I cannot sit by on this one any more. This aggregate sealer is complete junk and for the price I'd recommend another product elsewhere. We've had numerous problems with adhesion, wear, flaking, ghosting, batch mix and quality after client applications. Similar to other reviews. We don't take shortcuts on prep or application either, our reputation is sacred and our clients pay us for that. Unfortunately Eagle has left us hanging to bail out customer satisfaction with little to no help on their end. Honestly, some folks at Eagle need to be fired. I try to be forgiving and positive in my business but my patience with this product is done. Avoid.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Eagle Concrete Sealer Wore Out In Only One Year
I've written other reviews to let people know NOT TO BUY any acrylic Eagle concrete products. We properly sealed our driveway and basement with the Acrylic Eagle Sealer and it wore out within a year. We are very disappointed and would not recommend their products at all.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Brewdude1972 WARNING - product is complete garbage!!!
This past fall I bought 20 gallons (4 five gallon drums) of the Eagle Exposed Aggregate sealer to cover my driveway. I followed the instructions to the letter ensuring proper coverage and surface prep and temperature. Right after I finished the application the driveway looked beautiful. But then a few hours later I noticed the driveway looked like it was covered with a thin layer of snow flurries. When I looked closer I could see that millions of tiny bubbles/ blisters had formed. The next day when I was able to walk on the driveway it was like walking on bubble wrap and broken egg shells. Most of the blisters were still there, some had grown into large blisters and some had popped. I contacted Eagle and they said I should apply a bunch of xylene to smooth it out, or they said i could just buy more sealer and repeat the job - that would surely fix it. So, being the dummy, I bought 20 more gallons of the garbage and reapplied. Of course, the results were exactly the same. When I contacted Eagle again they said they would send someone out to have a look at the problem, but it would be a few months before they got there. In the meantime, most of the applied sealer (resin) slowly washed off my driveway each time it rained, I can still find resin beads out in my lawn where the driveway water runs-off. Now when you look at my driveway you can see it still has a very thin layer of resin coating in most areas but in all areas the surface is crater-pocked like the surface of the moon (the result of millions of bubbles popping). When Eagle's rep finally showed up and looked at the driveway they decided the driveway looks great and there is nothing they can do for me. I seriously doubt they ever got out of the car to look at the driveway.

I used along with the Eagle crack sealer. Combined they worked well. Be sure and order enough sealer. It really does require a gallon per 100 sq. ft. on exposed aggregate. I did not believe it and had to order more to finish my job. Also, be sure and use the recommended 1 1/4" roller. I also tried a 3/4" nap roller and it did not work nearlly as well as the 1 1/4" nap.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TrapperJohn My aggregate driveway looks like new!
Product went on easily, covered the area that it was supposed to, and made my walk and driveway look great. The product is solvent-based, so it really stinks for several hours after you apply. I highly recommend that you close all the windows in your house before applying and wear goggles and a good face mask. Also plan on disposing of all clothing that you wear to apply sealer, especially shoes and pants.
