Answer:
I've not used the product this way, but I'd say yes as the wall is concrete,. However as the wall is vertical and this product has the consistency similar to water, you may have some substantial runoff if applied too heavily. May have to make multiple coat applications to retain the sealer in all the pores of the cinder block wall.

Certainly it can be used on a cinder block wall. I use it on my brick chimneys and it works great. But I think if you are trying to make the cinder block water proof, this is probably not the best solution. My recollection of cinder block is that it is very porous, and this may not be able to solve that problem.

I used this to eliminate the water penetration thru my brick chimney. It worked well. I actually used something else that HD sold for cinder block about 20 years ago. HD used to show this stuff in the store with a cinder block waterproofed and holding water. They used to have a pump showing the water flow thru the unpainted side. The stuff I used was white and was called DryLock. Not sure they sell it any more. I actually used it on below grade basement walls and it eliminated the musty smell and dampness in the basement. If you want to waterproof cinder block walls, I think you will need something different. Read Less

Answer:
I would have concerns about adhesion of the sealer as many of the pores it would adhere within will be closed off by the paint. If effect both the paint and the sealer accomplish the same function.

Answer:
Yes. Buy enough to apply 2 or even 3 coats as you are likely to have deeper pores / cracks to fill due to the concrete's age.

Answer:
I suppose it depends on the climate, but I have found it lasts at least three years. I get a lot of snow so I do not know if that affects the endurance of the sealant.

Answer:
I would recommend redoing the application every 2-3 years. As I've only applied it once, I can't say if multiple applications over time would allow for a longer interval between applications.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 169 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent results It took two coats to make a difference (darken) the look. The firct coat was absorbed and didn't apear to have any affect except to cause warer to bead up on the bricks. The second coat made a big difference. July 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by REALLY GREAT STUFF I WAS A NON BELIEVER IN THE VALUE OF SEALER. WE USED THIS ON VERY HIGH GRADE ARIZONA SANDSTONE FLAGSTONE QUARRIED NEAR THE GRAND CANYON. WE ALLOWED THE GROUT TO DRY FOR TWO MONTHS - NO RAIN SO IT WAS BONE DRY. APPLYING THE SEALER IS VERY EASY. IT HAS VERY LOW VISCOSITY (LIKE WATER). IF YOU ARE TOO HEAVY OR LIGHT IN A SPOT, ROLLING OVER THE AREA FIXES IT UP PERFECT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROLLING IT NOT SPRAYING. WE BOUGHT SOME 18 INCH ROLLERS TO DO 3000 SQ FEET. IF YOU WALK ON A WET ROLLED SPOT IT DOES NOT STICK LIKE GOOEY PAINT TO YOUR SHOES. SPOTS THAT HAVE A MILKY LOOK WHERE IT IS OVER-SATURATED CAN BE ROLLED OUT TEN MINUTES LATER. HERE IN ARIZONA WHERE IT GETS CRAZY HOT WE DID IT AT SUNRISE FOR 2 OR 3 HOURS. WHEN THE TEMPERATURE GETS TO 90 DEGREES YOU CAN TELL IT IS GOING ON FUNNY - SO STOP AND FINISH THE NEXT DAY. NO PROBLEMS LAPPING OVER IF YOU ARE NOT QUITE SURE WHERE YOU STOPPED. INSTRUCTIONS SAY NOT TO APPLY OVER 90 F. VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL CORNERS WE COULD NOT REACH INTO, WE SPRAYED WITH A REGULAR OLD SPRAY BOTTLE. I HAVE DONE 2 OR 3 COATS IN SOME SMALL SPOTS WHERE RAIN PUDDLES OR BENEATH A RAIN SPOUT WHICH GETS A LOT OF WATER. TEST SPRAY SOME WATER THE NEXT DAY...IF IT IS NOT BEADING UP THEN DO ANOTHER COAT. WE BOUGHT A FOURTH 5 GALLON CAN FOR SOME CONCRETE AREAS TOO. WE USED NON-GLOSSY - STONES LOOK JUST LIKE THEY DID PRIOR TO COATING(S) July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great price Quality product I bought this product after reading another review I found helpful. I have used several product that have been very expensive and not nearly as good as Eagle. The five gallons at $79 was a great buy as most others were about $27 for one gallon. This product was very good for the patio, garage, and sidewalk on which it was used. The water beaded up nicely which was not the case as with other brands i have used. I highly recommed this!!! This is only availableonline and was shipped in two days. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Eagle Natural Seal is great We applied 65 gallons of Eagle sealer on our broomed concrete driveway and pool deck. Very easy to do with long handle rollers - and we're 70 years old. No change in appearance of concrete except when it rains. Water beads and runs off instead of absorbing. July 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by no problems, only thing left is how long it last. Easily applied with a 3/4 in roller . Can't give it an excellent because I need to see how long it will last. July 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Don't try to roll it The instructions on the bottle conflict with the instructions on the flyer contained in the box. One recommends rolling the product onto the surface, the other says spray it on. After trying to roll it, definitely learn from my mistake and USE a SPRAYER. Doesn't have to be an expensive one, I used a $10 Lowe's sprayer and it worked fine. The product is very thin. Wish I had been smart enough to read through ALL the reviews here because many people wrote the same thing. The natural seal product doesn't change the appearance of the pavers at all after it dries, if you want the "wet" look, you need the more expensive product. How it does over the next couple of years remains to be seen. June 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product While it does not cover all the area it says it will, what it does cover is protected. Water beads up nicely. I used a sprayer and it worked fine and cleaned up easily. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great sealer Worked as advertised. Water beads on concrete when wet June 24, 2016
