It took two coats to make a difference (darken) the look. The firct coat was absorbed and didn't apear to have any affect except to cause warer to bead up on the bricks. The second coat made a big difference.

I WAS A NON BELIEVER IN THE VALUE OF SEALER. WE USED THIS ON VERY HIGH GRADE ARIZONA SANDSTONE FLAGSTONE QUARRIED NEAR THE GRAND CANYON.
WE ALLOWED THE GROUT TO DRY FOR TWO MONTHS - NO RAIN SO IT WAS BONE DRY.
APPLYING THE SEALER IS VERY EASY. IT HAS VERY LOW VISCOSITY (LIKE WATER). IF YOU ARE TOO HEAVY OR LIGHT IN A SPOT, ROLLING OVER THE AREA FIXES IT UP PERFECT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROLLING IT NOT SPRAYING. WE BOUGHT SOME 18 INCH ROLLERS TO DO 3000 SQ FEET. IF YOU WALK ON A WET ROLLED SPOT IT DOES NOT STICK LIKE GOOEY PAINT TO YOUR SHOES. SPOTS THAT HAVE A MILKY LOOK WHERE IT IS OVER-SATURATED CAN BE ROLLED OUT TEN MINUTES LATER.
HERE IN ARIZONA WHERE IT GETS CRAZY HOT WE DID IT AT SUNRISE FOR 2 OR 3 HOURS. WHEN THE TEMPERATURE GETS TO 90 DEGREES YOU CAN TELL IT IS GOING ON FUNNY - SO STOP AND FINISH THE NEXT DAY. NO PROBLEMS LAPPING OVER IF YOU ARE NOT QUITE SURE WHERE YOU STOPPED. INSTRUCTIONS SAY NOT TO APPLY OVER 90 F.
VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL CORNERS WE COULD NOT REACH INTO, WE SPRAYED WITH A REGULAR OLD SPRAY BOTTLE.
I HAVE DONE 2 OR 3 COATS IN SOME SMALL SPOTS WHERE RAIN PUDDLES OR BENEATH A RAIN SPOUT WHICH GETS A LOT OF WATER.
TEST SPRAY SOME WATER THE NEXT DAY...IF IT IS NOT BEADING UP THEN DO ANOTHER COAT. WE BOUGHT A FOURTH 5 GALLON CAN FOR SOME CONCRETE AREAS TOO.
WE USED NON-GLOSSY - STONES LOOK JUST LIKE THEY DID PRIOR TO COATING(S)

Used this on an older concrete driveway that gets moss from shaded wet conditions. After pressure washing and drying the driveway was clean and uniform in color. Applied Eagle sealant by spray followed by rolling with a paint roller to assure uniform coverage. Driveway ended up being spotted as areas had different levels of absorption of the sealant. Don't know yet about well it will protect but you should be aware that spotting is possible if the surface has different levels of absorption. Coverage was less than 1000 sq ft per 5 gallon container probably due to roughness of surface.

Read the reviews before buying this product. I found that the description and ease of use were exactly as described. Expected coverage of product was right-on. Also easy clean up and care. After the product was applied, I waited for the first rain to see if there was a difference, and there was! Very happy with the decision to buy the product.

I put this on my concrete driveway back almost 2 years ago. It seems like it started failing after less than a year in the more exposed parts of the driveway. Water hasn't beaded on most of the driveway in several months now and i have quite a bit of moss growing in the shaded areas. The covered part of my front porch seems to have fared much better.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Larry Great price Quality product
I bought this product after reading another review I found helpful. I have used several product that have been very expensive and not nearly as good as Eagle. The five gallons at $79 was a great buy as most others were about $27 for one gallon. This product was very good for the patio, garage, and sidewalk on which it was used. The water beaded up nicely which was not the case as with other brands i have used. I highly recommed this!!! This is only availableonline and was shipped in two days.

We applied 65 gallons of Eagle sealer on our broomed concrete driveway and pool deck. Very easy to do with long handle rollers - and we're 70 years old. No change in appearance of concrete except when it rains. Water beads and runs off instead of absorbing.

The concrete sealer was easy to apply. Seemed to penetrate and didn't leave a discoloration on the surface. The water beaded on the top of the concrete after it rained a few days after it was applied.Waiting to see how it does over time
