It wouldn't be a good idea anyway, unless you have 110 wiring at home. Ghana is rated for 220.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works as advertised Was reluctant to purchase an HVLP system. Talked to several painting professionals and professional paint dealers. They all said that I needed a 4 turbine system to spray latex paint to get a furniture finish. Did my own research and watched the videos on the internet about this HVLP unit. Well let me tell you it worked great. The best part is the company that sells this unit explains that it is important to get the material you are spraying to a certain viscosity and provide a viscosity cup to make sure you get it right. Right off the bat I mixed and thinned the water based paint according to the viscosity cup using DISTILLED water, not tap water. Tap water contains contaminates. I used Kelly Moore Dura Poxy. What a great finish. No orange peel, no runs. Just a real nice finish. I painted a particle board tool box case bright red. First with a coat of primer, light sanding and then the final. Could not be happier. Easy clean up. Works Great and about one third the cost of a 4 turbine unit. If I ever wear this thing out, I'm going to get another one. Follow the directions and watch the video that comes with the unit before you start. If you do, and use a good quality paint, you will not be disappointed. September 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sprayer of My Dreams! This is the only sprayer that I can honestly say is worth more than I paid for it. Very easy apparatus setup. Very clear mixing instructions with viscosity easily attained. I couldn't be happier with quick cleaning. Need I go on? BUY THIS NOW! March 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect For Woodworking After finally figuring out that the Graco sprayers are way over kill for woodworking projects I purchased the Earlex Spray Station along with the 1,5 mm optional needle kit. After my first attempt at building a custom picture frame I painted it (photo included in this review, but hard to see), After sanding I sprayed the frame with the new Earlex 5500 Sprayer using the 1.5mm needle. It came out great. The thing I like the most is the fact that I can spray inside my small shop with almost no overspray. I just put down some paper right around the project, about 12" around the wood and that's all I needed. With both of my Graco units that is not remotely possible. The spray pattern accuracy of this unit is excellent. On my next project I'm planning on spraying about 48 linear feet of fluted moulding. It took me several hours of tedious hand painting with small brushes the last time I did that project. I'm betting this time it will take less than 15 minutes and will look 3 times better. If you are doing woodworking projects like furniture, cabinets or anything else I highly recommend this product. I count it among my most valuable tools in the wood shop. It's too bad that Home Depot does not sell this in their stores. As of now it's only available online. I think that is a mistake. January 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Should have done this sooner. This product is so much better than using an airless sprayer. With the quick adjustable tip going from fan to spot is a nice feature when doing tight spots or railings. The only thing negative thing I found about this spray unit is that I waited to long to buy one. Think of all the time it would have saved me! October 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HVLP Sprayer This sprayer is very versatile...can be used for any type paint and is very easy to use and clean. Would highly recommend for anybody. September 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Earlex I use this to apply finishes in my woodworking projects. It does a great job and cleans very easily. August 31, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best sprayer for the money Easy cleanup and everything. I use it solely for lacquers and it gives me a top quality finish August 4, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Experience Overall good product and very easy to use and clean. I did four coats on 22 kitchen cabinets with greater ease than in the past. HVLP is just easier although painting a large area like a house will require the airless. The spray control is about the same as for a spray can of paint, and yet much easier to control the volume of material. Exceptions - the clip that is to hold the hose broke right away - thin plastic. The carry around base should have a little storage for a 1.5 needle and tip and for the special wrench. Varnish requires about a 10-15 percent thinning, but is no where close to the 160 second drip noted in the included video. 45 seconds is better for varnish. The 160 must be for latex only.
