Answer:
Hello,
Yes, ethanol-free gas is the best for this engine. Any ethanol will gum up the carbonator.
Thank you!

Reversible tines?

One of the features listed under product overview is "reversible tines for cultivating or aggressive digging" . I know this may sound crazy, but I have researched many tillers/cultivators recently to consider which one I should buy. What is the feature of the tines that already come on the tiller if it is not to cultivate or dig into the dirt? Why do they need to be reversed?

Answer:
I reversed the tines on mine and could not tell much difference. I was only able to run mine for a total of about 4 hours. I went to use it again and the motor is locked up. It was running fine last time i used it.

Answer:
When attached in one direction on the axle, the tiller digs deep. When the tines are switched 180 degrees, the tiller stays higher on the soil for better weeding. This makes weeding both require less effort than depth tilling, and lets you get closer to plants you want without damaging roots.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by two day use and broken i used for a few days and was quite happy with ease of use. after a few weeks on none use, i resumed and found the pull rope frozen. im going to attempt to return. September 1, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great machine l really like the tiller,,,it does work good and easy to use August 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful! We bought this to cultivate our garden between rows. Chews up the weeds like it needs to. Now we only have to hand-weed in the rows of vegetables. First year in a while that the garden didn't look like a weed patch with vegetables scattered about. This is not a tiller, but a cultivator. It grinds up already tilled dirt to keep down the weeds. Wish we had bought this years ago. Highly recommend this product. July 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice little tiller. Nice little tiller if my 4'9" girl friend can handle it anyone can. June 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by cultivator not all it says it is. The cultivator didn't dig up the weeds as I hoped. It turned the ground up but didnt get under the root of the weeds. I still had to pull them up. it did knock them down so they dried up by the next day and could easily pull/rake them up. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very happy with purchase! The cultivator is very easy to assemble, and use! We did make a mistake when assembling and the pull rope was wrapped around the bar but it was an easy fix. June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good I bought this tiller to weed around the plants and keep the rows clean. So far ive used it a few times and its worked just how i need it to. June 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The perfect tool for an old lady! I'm a 60 year old lady and I love this tiller! I put it together, easy! I start it up, easy each time! If you need a tiller that will do the job yet is easy to handle this is the one you want. My flower beds really needed some work and I also am preparing my front yard for sod. All by myself! I started with just a shovel and rake but decided to invest in this tiller. Now I'm almost done. Really worth the money! Great investment! May 10, 2016
